Lady Dimitrescu's Little One

chapter 3

Helene POV

Miss dimitrescu's idea seemed really nice... I would have a place to stay, someone to take care of me and a roof over my head I won't have to worry about things for a while

All of that did sound really good, but I wasn't sure why she would want to do that for someone she barely knows...  And I also didn't know how her daughters are gonna feel about her taking care of me... Will they be mad?

"I-I really like the iwdea, buh I nu wan to make yew daughters mwad an thank you for giving me a place to swtay" I whispered softly, resting my head on her chest, trying to soak in the last minutes as much as I could

"Why would we be mad little butterfly?" A voice said from besides the door and I turned just slightly to see 3 people standing there and 2 of them were the girls from before, so these must be all of lady Dimitrecu's daughters

"They won't be mad honey" Miss Dimitrescu said in a soft tone, motioning for all three of them to come closer, I instinctively snuggled closer to her

"We won't be mad, mother has been looking for a little for a really long time" I think cassandra said in a soft tone, she's been speaking in a much gentle tone

"I-I wanna try? I-Is that okay?" I asked hesitantly, glancing at her daughters before fixing my glance on her, trying to read her reaction,  and watching as her face broke out into a big grin

"That's more than okay sweetheart, you want to meet my daughter's? They'll be your sisters if you decide to do this" She asked softly, making me nod my head and shift on her lap slightly so that I could face the three girls

"I have Cassandra the one you met first, and I have my youngest Daniela" she said pointing to another girl who gave me a small wave "and my oldest Bela" She said pointing to a yellow haired girl who looked the kindest out of them

"Wanna say hi little one?" She cooed at me softly, I blushed and gave a tiny wave before doing a quick 180 and hiding in to her chest

"Miss Mitrescu?" I asked hesitantly peeking out from under her chin and looking at her "yes little one? And while we're trying this if you're okay with calling me mama Or momma or anything along those lines it's more than okay"

I just started at her dumbfounded on how she knew exactly what was going on in my mind, I nodded softly and rested my head on her chest again getting comfortable

Lady Dimitrescu POV

The little thing looked adorable sitting on my lap I rubbed her back gently with my hand, smiling softly when I saw her cuddle even further into me

"Mother, is she going to be our sister?" Bela asks her face trying hard not to show excitement "if she wants to then yes dear" I replied softly

"Do you wanna take a nap little one? I can show you my room and maybe you can rest a little before supper?" I asked softly, not wanting her to feel pressured, but I'm pretty sure she'll be out in 5 minutes

"Es pwease" She whispered softly making me smile and stand up, holding her securely with one hand "can you three make sure there's some food for her after she wakes up? Probably ask one of the cooks and Cassandra please clean the basement" I whispered trying to keep my voice low

"But mooom" Came the wine from Cassandra making me raise en eyebrow and look at her, she shifted her glance a blush on her cheeks, and nodded "good girl, go along now babies" I said softly to the three of them giving Cassandra's head a little pat as all of them swarmed and went to their chores

I made my way to my room, walking a little slower to make sure not to move the little one around too much, I swayed her gently smiling at how her fist clenched on my dress, absolutely adorable

"This is momma's room, you are more than welcome to come here anytime okay sweetheart?" I said softly setting her on my bed which seemed to make her look even younger than before

"M'kay" She replied softly, her eager eyes looking all around the room with curious glances "it pwetty" She whispered, smiling as she looked back at me

"How old are you right now sweetheart?" I asked sitting down beside her and tucking some loose hair behind her ear "me 2" She whispered almost hesitantly, her eyes glossing up slightly as they stared at me

"Shhhh it's okay, it's more than okay" I cooed as I pulled her into me, holding her close so her head was on my chest and her legs around my waist, her arms wrapped around my neck loosely as she hugged me

"Do you wanna try and go potty sweetheart? Or wear a pull up while you nap?" I whispered softly and pressed a kiss to her head letting her know whatever she chooses will be okay with me, worst comes worst I'll need to change my sheets that shouldn't be a problem

"Pullie pwesse" She whispered softly making me nod and give her a small smile "such a good girl you are baby, why don't we try going potty as well? But we'll keep the pull up on just in case alright?" I explained as I made my way towards the dresser at the very end

I took out a night gown which would fit her nice and a pack of princess pull up, taking out one "do you want me to help angel?" I whispered into her ear, not wanting to make a big deal out of it "nuh me do it" She shook her head making me nod

"Sure you can darling, the bathroom is right over there, don't lock the door and call out for me if you need me" She nodded softly and toddled into the bathroom coming back in less than five minutes, in which I stared at the door intently

"Up pwesse" She said as soon as she came out, a small yawn coming from her which made her paci fall, her old clothes were bunched up in one hand and the paci falling just let everything loose as one after the other the tears just kept falling

"Shhh come here little bug it's okay" I cooed softly scooping her up and cleaning her paci with a wet wipe and handing it back to her, I also threw her old clothes in the hallway, one of the maids can take care of that

"I got you honey, just close your eyes, mama's got you" I kept whispering softly as her eyes fluttered close and I watched her slip into dreamland

And we see more of little Helene!
