"Anthony!" Dottie yelled from the kitchen. Anthony and Howard came running inside the kitchen from the garden with sweats on their forehead while laughing with each other "yes mommy?" "yes dear?" they both asked at the same time

They looked at each other with a playful glare making her laugh "who is it?" Howard asked looking back at Dottie "the cute one obviously" she smiled picking Anthony up and pecking his cheek "hey! I'm cute" Howard pouts making them laugh

"Okay seriously we gotta give him a nickname. We can't just run to you everytime you yell Anthony" Howard groaned "then let's get you to the shower Tony" Dottie grinned giving him a nickname "I like that!" Tony yelled

"I'm gonna shower him. Go clean yourself up you stink" Dottie spoke looking at Howard "nah I'll be waiting for you so we can shower together" Howard smirked at her making her eye widen "Howard!" she yelled slapping his shoulder "what? he's six he can't understand those things" Howard replied ruffling Tony's hair

"he's your child genius. He understand things that some six year old kids don't" Dottie said glaring at him. "Alright I'll clean up now" Howard smiled at her leaning in for a kiss but she pushed him away "you stink" she mumbled walking away. Tony stick his tounge out on his father making Howard raise his eyebrows "son of a devil" Howard mumbled "well yeah, his father is obviously one" Dottie yelled after they left the kitchen "What, she have six senses now?" Howard asked to his self "you just whisper too loud" Dottie yelled once again making his eyebrows rise "no I don't!" he yelled back offensively making her laugh

"Tony, Tony where are you?" Dottie yelled after she got out of their room drying her hair. She walked around the house and stopped when she saw the door of the room that they barely go to slightly open. She slowly opened the door more seeing Tony stood there making her smile in relief

"Mom?" Tony asked with his back on Dottie "yes honey?" she asked "who is that? he doesn't look like daddy" Tony asked pointing up at a photo hanging in the wall before turning to look at his mother with a confused face. Dottie followed where his finger's pointing

She let's out a sigh seeing her and Bucky's first and last photo together that she haven't see in years. Dottie looked down at Tony and gave him a small smile before picking him up and sitting him down on her lap while they both face the photo on the wall "that is Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes dear. He sacrificed his life for our country" she explained looking up at their photo

"So he's a hero?" Tony asked with a wide smile on his face making her smile widely by her son's words "he is a hero" she repeated looking down at him "how do you have a photo together? do you know him?" Tony asked looking back at his mother "I do honey" she replied

"the first person that made mommy happy after years of grieving from your grandparents" she added looking back up at Bucky as her eyes brim with tears having flashbacks of their memories "I wanna meet him mommy, where is he?" he asked looking up at her. His question made her tears fall down on her cheeks realizing that she never thought that she have to tell Tony his stories

"That's for another time honey, maybe when you can understand things, when your older" she explained kissing his head "why are you crying?" he asked looking at her before wiping her tears away "just remembered something" she smiled "now go to Ana, she prepared your lunch" she said helping him up from her lap

"I'll see you downstairs" she waved before he nods and made his way downstairs to the kitchen. She walked towards the drawers and took the last letter she got from him and reads it once again seeing the paper turning brown

"Alright which one do you want?" he asked looking down at her "whatever you get is okay" she smiled up at him making him roll his eyes "c'mon liz just tell me." She lets out a chuckle and nods her head "that one is cute" she said pointing at the white stuffed bear with a bow on its head.

Dottie laughed hearing him groan after failing to make the cups fall down to win the bear "okay let's go" she smiled pulling him by the arm "no let me try another one" he said pulling her back "James you've spent two bucks already" she whined "I don't care, I wanna win that bear for you" he smirked making her shake her head on his stubbornness

"Yes! finally!" Bucky cheered after successfully winning her the bear making her laugh "thank you bucky" she smiled giving him a kiss on the cheek after he hands her the bear "did you just call me bucky?" he asked grinning down at her "yeah, why?" she asked looking back at him "nothing, I'm just used to you calling me James" he smiled down at her

"you don't like me calling you bucky?" she asked smirking at him "yeah I don't like it, I kinda love it" he replied smirking back at her "alright soldier let's head home" she smiled up at him "Elizabeth" he called "James?" she mocked with her eyebrows raised "can I ask something?" he asked walking closer to her "anything" she smiled

"Can I kiss you?" he asked making her cheeks heat up "w-what?" she asked nervously making him chuckle "can i?" he asked placing a hand on her cheek "the pleasure is all mine" she replied giving a smile before they both leaned closer to each other until their lips touched. Dottie felt butterflies inside her for the first time again after of so long years

Bucky pulled her closer by placing his other hand on her waist while she wrapped her arms around his neck kissing him back passionately making his cheeks blush and he couldn't help but smile widely on her lips. The two slowly pulled away with their eyes still on each other and awkward looks on their faces making both of them laugh

"Awkward" Bucky mumbled making her laugh "it's amazing though" she replied making him laugh "let's go home now" Bucky smiled at her and intertwined their fingers. He pulled her back making her gasp surprisingly before he placed a small kiss on her lips making her laugh again "your amazing" he smirked before they both walked and made their way home with huge smiles on their faces

"Honey we're about to eat, we're just waiting for you" Howard called from behind making her snapped out. She looked back at him and nods her head "you okay?" he asked seeing tears on her eyes, she nods her head and placed the letter back on the drawer

Howard looked at the letter and looked at her sadly "come here" he called with his arms opened gaining a sad smile from her. She walked towards him and hugged him tightly "I'm sorry, Tony asked about him and the memories just came back" she mumbled while he rubs her back "you don't have to say sorry dear, I know what it feels like" he whispered kissing her temple

"Let's eat" Howard said pulling her away "give me a second" she smiled earning a smile from him before leaving her in the room

"I'm yours forever" he whispered on her while her head lays on his shoulder watching the sunset peacefully. She turned to him with a smile "what's that supposed to mean?" she asked making him smile "it's a promise, even in another life. I'm yours even if your not mine" he mumbled kissing her temple "I don't make promises I can't keep liz, you know that" he added making her smile

Dottie shook her head and took a deep breath trying to take her head off from remembering each one of their memory knowing she's just gonna get hurt again everytime she remembers he's gone
