"How was work Miss Aimsworth" Anna asked as Dottie walked inside the house "not that bad actually" she replied "where's Howard"
"Mr Stark's on the kitchen with Edwin. They both insisted to make dinner" Anna answered making Dottie raise her eyebrows as she made her way towards the kitchen "letting Howard cook is a big mistake Anna" she stood by the counter with her hands on her waist watching Howard and Jarvis
"Mr Stark you put too much salt" Jarvis spoke looking down at the pot "I think I put enough Jarvis" Howard answered before looking behind seeing Dottie stood there "didn't expect you to be home early. Here try my soup" Howard suggested holding a spoon on his hand as Dottie took it and tried his soup
"So?" Howard asked grinning at her "that's the worst soup I've had" she answered making him groan "c'mon it's the best soup I've made" Howard said throwing his hands on the air "that's the first soup you made Howard" Dottie answered making him roll his eyes
"Let's just go eat somewhere. Jarvis tell Anna to get ready" Howard spoke "I'll just cook me and Anna dinner you both enjoy your night" Jarvis answered
"Let's go then" Howard placed his arm around Dottie's shoulder pulling her outside with him. As they reached outside Jarvis was already inside a car grinning at them "Mr Jarvis enjoy your dinner with Anna Howard can drive" Dottie suggested
"Miss Aimsworth Anna will eat me out alive if I dont drive you both so please for the sake of the three of us. Mostly me" Jarvis spoke making her chuckle before she went inside the car as Howard did the same
"How was your duty" Howard asked looking at Dottie while she eats her grilled cheese "well pretty great just not as good as I expected because peggy wasn't there today" she answered making Howard nod "what about you, how was your day?" she asked looking back at him "had to chase bernard around the garden for an hour with Jarvis and the rest is completely boring"
"Why's that?" she asked "my favorite girl wasn't home" he answered biting on his cheeseburger making Dottie's cheeks turn into a deep shade of red while he looked at her smirking
After the two finished eating they both went outside to wait for the taxi that they rented. Dottie crossed the street without him noticing as he was busy checking himself on the glass outside. She looked at him across the street laughing while he fixed his hair "Dottie let's g-" Howard looked beside him not seeing her there
He looked around the busy streets of New York that's surprisingly pretty quiet and empty for a city that never sleeps. Looking across the street there he saw her doing the same thing that he just did few seconds ago admiring the city and smiling to herself. Even from far her could still see how beautiful she is making him smile to himself while he admires the woman from across the street. Never in his life of being a playboy he thought that he would fall in love and luckily he did to a amazing woman like her
"Howard!" Dottie yelled seeing him staring at her "are you scared to cross the street or what?" she asked getting no response from him seeing him still deep in his thoughts "Howard!" she yelled more loudly finally snapping him out of his thoughts. Howard sent her a smile before crossing the street and placing his arm around her shoulder "I'd never get tired of this city" Dottie muttured looking around
"Its truly a sight for sore eyes" Howard replied making her nod in agreement only for her to see him staring at her making her roll her eyes "we're completely talking about different things" she spoke making him grin "oh yes we are darling" he grins at her making her chuckle
Both of their heads turned to the diner that they just left hearing them playing a loud slow music that can be heard to the streets "may I have this dance my lady" Howard asked holding his hand out for Dottie to take with a smirk on his face "you may" she replied placing her hand over his as he placed his other hand on her waist
The two of them slowly sway with the music on the sidewalk of New York under a big street light while cars pass around them with huge smiles on their faces. None of them was a fan of romantic things yet there they are doing one of the most romantic things two person could do. Getting lost on each other's eyes, they both slowly lean in until they were inches away from each other
Not even seconds later they felt each others soft plump lips on theirs making them smile on the kiss never wanting the night to end while they both felt that everything around them stopped for a brief moment. After sharing a soft passionate kiss the two slowly pulled away with their forehead leaned into each other with huge smiles on their faces
"Taxi for Howard Stark" a man yelled across the street making them both pull away from each other. As Dottie was about to cross the street, she got pulled back by Howard and dip her low then placed another kiss on her lips "sorry couldn't resist" Howard apologized making her laugh then took her hand out for him. They interviewed their fingers together and crossed the street "remind me again on why we even crossed the street when the taxi was supposed to arrive in here" Dottie spoke getting inside the taxi making Howard laugh
