"Thompson tell Aimsworth to go home" Dooley ordered seeing the girl doing some files while she tried to keep herself awake from his window office. Jack nodded in response as he made his way out of his office "bring her home, a lady shouldn't be going home alone at night" Dooley added "Chief, she would rather walk home than letting me take her home trust me" Jack said making Dooley shook his head "son we both know that you like the woman and you wouldn't let her go home on her own late at night" Dooley responds with a hand on Jack's shoulder
Jack looked at him and nods in response not denying anything knowing he's right "don't get too attached Jack, that's Stark's. You'll only get hurt" he advice making Jack let out a chuckle "I just admire the woman Chief, nothing else" he answered making his way towards her desk
"Elizabeth" Jack called sitting down on his desk looking down at her with her head down on her desk with her eyes closed "Elizabeth time to go home" Jack called once again before sighing and patting her back "Elizabeth" he called again in much louder voice waking her "Jack for God's sake" she mumbled slowly placing her head back to her desk before Jack slowly pulled her up from her chair by her shoulders making her groan "Chief said you can go home" Jack spoke letting her go seeing her wide awake while she collects her things "alright then goodnight Jack" she smiled making her way outside
"Elizabeth" Jack called making her head turn back to him "I'm taking you home" he grinned "I can take care of myself" she responds "my order Agent" Dooley called from his office door making her sigh "alright" she mumbled nodding her head before shooting Jack a glare while he stood there grinning at her. She rolled her eyes while she made her way outside cussing
"Thank you" she mumbled giving Jack a smile making him turn his head at her with a his eyebrows raised "well that's a first" he teased making her roll her eyes "yeah and the last" she answered reaching down for her bag that fell under her seat. Jack rolled his eyes and also reached down for her bag. Dottie let's out a loud groan after she hit her head on the dashboard making Jack burst out into laughter while they both looked up seeing her already looking at him "oh shut up" she glared at him "what? that was funny as hell" he responds
"let me smash yours it'll be funnier" she answered while he only stare at her noticing how close they are from each other's faces. Dottie raised her eyebrows confused on what made him so quiet, before she could even ask she realized he was leaning towards her making her eyes widen before she gulps not knowing what to do
She placed her hand on his cheek looking back at him "Jack" she called snapping him out of his thoughts making his cheeks turn pink as he placed a hand over hers that's resting on his cheeks "yeah?" he asked looking back straight at her eyes "I won't lie I find you attractive the first time I saw you and I really appreciate you but" she paused "I love howard" she gave him a small smile before he slowly backed away from her "yeah uh well" he cleared his throat
"Friends?" she asked akwardly with her hand out hoping he would agree "of course" he agreed shaking her hand giving her a smile before she nods her head and yawns making him chuckle "alright go rest" he spoke unlocking the doors before she leaned in and kissed his cheek taking him in by surprise "thanks" she mumbled before getting out of the car and heading inside the mansion while Jack sat there staring into a distance with a hand on his cheek before shaking his head
