Chapter 30- Dehydrated

After a while Harper wakes up surrounded by people
"What happened and why am I on the floor?" Harper asks confused
"You fainted!" Casey says looking worried
"I'm just dehydrated I'll be fine" Harper says getting up
They all look worried
"Guys I'm fine! See!" Harper says walking up and down the room
"Now 81! It's time for ladder drills!" Harper shouts
81 makes their way outside and does some ladder drills
"Come on Otis! You've got to hurry up!" Harper shouts
"Sorry captain!" Otis shouts as he speeds up
"What's the hold up Johns?" Harper shouts
"Sorry captain I needed a break!" Johns shouts
"You can take a break later! Hurry up! Your holding everyone up!" Harper shouts annoyed
"Hey captain! I'll take over if you want and you can go catch up on paperwork?" Herrmann asks
"Thanks Herrmann! Your a lifesaver!" Harper says as she runs in
"All units, High-rise fire, 56th street" The intercom says
Everyone suits up and gets in the trucks
"This is gonna be a big one so watch out guys! Listen to orders! Got it?" Harper says
"Got it!" They all say
They arrive on scene and can see a high rise on fire and spreading fast.
"Okay! All truck companies are gonna take floors 20-30 and your are under captain Baileys command!" Chief shouts
"All squad companies take floors 10-20 and you are under captain Severides command!" Chief shouts
"And finally all engine companies take floors 0-10 and you are under captain Matt caseys command! Let's go people!" Chief shouts as everyone gets their masks on
"Okay all truck companies go in 2s! Keep attached to your partners hip! Got it!" Harper shouts
"Got it Captain!" They all say as they pair up and run in
Harper runs up to floor 20 to discover that the fire started on this floor
"Hey chief! The fire started on the 20th floor and is travelling down the walls!" Harper says through the radio
"Okay stay clear!" Boden says
"I can go in!" Harper says
"No Harper!" Boden says through the radio but Harper has already ran in
"Fire department call out!" Harper shouts
"Help!" A little boy shouts
Harper knocks down the door to discover a little boy hiding under his bed.
"Hey come here it's okay!" Harper says putting her hand out as the boy takes it
"What's you name buddy?" Harper asks
"Hudson!" Hudson answers
"Hey Hudson I'm Harper! Let's get you out of here!" Harper says putting Hudson over her shoulder
They run out and Harper runs into Herrmann and Otis in the hallway
"Here take my friend Hudson here!" Harper says passing Hudson to Otis
Harper then runs back in and finds 2 more victims. She gets them out and runs back in until her radio goes off
"Help! Mayday! Johns leg is trapped and I can't get to her" A firefighter says
"I'm coming!" Harper says as she runs upstairs
