The commander at the Fukurodani base had always had a rivalry with Akaashi's commander. It seemed like for many reasons he was better than him and he'd always come in second place no matter what. News quickly spread throughout the years of just how good one of the Elites at the base truly was and this infuriated the other commander more and more. He finally reached his wits end, and rigged the machine to send out an objective to kill Ki Chou in hopes of putting his base above the other. What the commander didn't know, however, was that one of his best elites -Bokuto- who would be the one to carry out the mission, actually knew Akaashi and didn't bring himself to take him out as a target.
