Meeting the Justice League

Azrael's pov

Bruce added my hero name to the zata tube basis and it announced our hero names. "Batman B01, Archangel A01." The tubes announced. My wings were tucked into my back and my bow was attached to my back. A hero who I recognized as Superman walked up to us. "Batman who is this?" Superman asked. Batman was grunted. "Are you new to the hero job?" Superman asked. "Not exactly, you might have read about me," I said confidently. "Archangel I am going to discuss strategy with the others. You are not a Justice League member. You cannot join our meetings." Batman said softly. "I understand Batman," I replied sweetly. Superman looked at us and nodded his head. They walked away and I couldn't help, but hear Clark. "So are you and her?" Clark started. "Don't start," Batman growled. I couldn't help but chuckle. I turned around to face a green-skinned female, a black-haired boy who was wearing a Superman t-shirt, and a blonde-haired girl in an orange and black suit. "Who are you?" The blonde-haired girl growled. "A friend," I said kindly. Then a teen who seemed like an Atlantan came out. He had green scales and webbed hands. "If you are some wannabe hero. We don't want you here." The boy growled. I raised a brow. "Besides you probably have no experience." He growled again. "I have had more time on the field then all of your ancestors' ages combined," I stated. The green female who I recognized as a Martian Manhunter looked at me confused. "I am sure we would have heard of you by now." The female said. "You have heard of me. You just haven't realized it yet children." I said calmly. "What are you talking about?" The blonde asked. I looked around her shoulder and saw Nightwing. I smirked. "I would like to answer your question young one, but I believe I have other matters to attend to," I said calmly and I began to walk over to Dick. Suddenly I heard someone run at me. I whipped around and grabbed a fist. I quickly flipped the Atlantan over and put my foot on his stomach. "You can not attack me, child. I am older than life itself." I growled menacingly. He looked terrified at me. Satisfied with myself. I nodded my head and picked my foot off of him and continued walking over to Nightwing. As soon as I successfully snuck upon him. I spoke up. "Hello, Nightwing," I said. "JESUS CHRIST," Dick shouted as he whipped around to face me. I sighed. "I don't believe he would be very pleased with that outburst," I said as I shook my head. "Oh my god, mom do not do that to me. You are going to give me a heart attack." Dick sighed as he clutched his chest. "Hey, you are here," Dick said shocked. "Yes, your father believed it was time that I met your little friends," I said placing a hand on my hip. "Well in perfect time. Do you want to join Artemis, Connor, Megan, and I on a mission to catch Deathstroke?" Nightwing asked. I heard the other young adults walk into the room and turned my head to look at them. "Why would you tell her our secret ID?" The blonde shouted. "Because Artemis, she knows mine." Dick sighed. Artemis seemed shocked. "How does she know your ID?" She asked with a raised brow. "Because she is my mom," Dick answered in a duh tone. The youngins mouths dropped. "We are so sorry for the way we acted Nightwing's mom," Megan said. "That is alright and please call me Archangel," I said.

Time skip

"Tigress, Archangel, you two are together." Nightwing commanded. I nodded my head and walked next to Tigress. "You two are to investigate Deathstroke's apartment. Miss Martian and Superboy keep the main exit sealed. I will handle the roof." Nightwing added. Tigress and I made our way to his apartment. I lead the way down the hallway. We found his apartment and I held up my hand for her to stop. I pulled out my bow and held it ready to fire. I quickly kicked in the door, sending it flying off its hinges. I looked back at Tigress. She looked at me and mouthed the word damm. We stalked our way into the apartment and kicked in any doors. Soon the apartment was clear. "The stove is still hot. Which means he didn't leave long ago." Tigress said. "You go check on Miss Martian and I will take the roof." I said. Then the mental link went off. "Ugh guys Deathstroke is on the roof." Dick said out loud. Panic over came me and I began running up the stairs of the apartment complex. "On my way hand on." I said. I neared the roof and saw Deathstroke kicked Dick off the roof. "NOO." I screamed and charged after him. I jumped off the roof and after Dick. The world seemed to move in slow motion as I fell towards my son. I grabbed his outreached hand and pulled him close to my chest. I flashed open my wings. Then the world sped up again and I stopped our fall. I twisted onto the side as we went between a semi truck. I landed abruptly on the crosswalk and gathered my footing. I launched myself upwards back onto the roof. "YOU KILLED THEM!" Tigress shouted. "Two birds one stone." Deathstroke growled. "It takes more then a stone to kill us Wilson." I growled as I landed. The three adolescents looked at us shocked. I sat Nightwing on the roof and stalked towards Deathstroke. Deathstroke panicked and slashed his sword at me. I quickly grabbed his hand and bent it backwards. His wrist snapped as he abruptly dropped his sword. He grunted in pain. "You thought that painful. You have no idea." I growled dangerously. I threw the sword at Dick. Who caught it expertly. I punched his face, bending the mask in the process. I grabbed the mask and ripped it off. I then kicked him, knocking the wind out of him. He tumbled backwards and tried to pick himself up. I quickly punched him unconscious. I pulled my wings back into my back and turned toward the young team. "So that is what you meant that you had more experience." Tigress said. "Are you Thanagarian?" Miss Martian asked. "No I am not Thanagarian. Although I did help create those." I replied. "What do you mean?" Miss Martian asked confused. "Honey what I mean is that I helped my Father and Mother create all life." I stated. "It's going to take more then a Hawkgirl wanna be to bring me down." Deathstroke sneered. "Oh you have enhanced healing. I am sure the demons will love that." I growled. Suddenly a portal opened up and two demons opened out. "Say hi to Talia for me." I said as they dragged him away. The portal closed as quickly as it opened. "Mom I was supposed to interrogate him." Nightwing sighed. "Oh do you want me to fly you down to hell. I am sure the demons could get him to tell you anything." I added. "Yeah we can do that later." Dick nodded his head. "Wait you are an Angel?" Artemis asked. "The Angel of Death yes." I nodded my head. Suddenly a portal open. "Lady Death, here is the information that Deathstoke had." The demon said. "Oh wow that was fast." I commented. "Yes he broke after 20 days." The demon announced. "Tt how sad. Nightwing you said you wanted information." I proclaimed. "Ugh yeah thanks." Nightwing mumbled. "Goodbye Lady Death." The demon stared and left. I nodded my head and turned back to the youngers. "Mission success, return back to the Watchtower." Nightwing commanded. We zata tubed back to the Watchtower and Nightwing left to do a report. "Hey are you a new archer?" Green Arrow asked. "Nope she is the first and original Archer." Tigress said throwing the hero off guard. "But I am." Green Arrow started. "Don't even try to win that one Green Arrow." Artemis said. "Archangel, I see you met the founders of the Young Justice." Batman stated. "That I did." I confirmed. "Ah I see you have come to the Watchtower." Diana said. I smiled. "That I have Wonder Women." I said as I was crushed into a hug. I returned the hug. "Wait you know Wonder Women?" Oliver asked. "Yes I knew Archangel since the war." Wonder Women said. "Oh are you Amazonian?" Superman asked. "Oh please we cannot take credit for Archangel's victories." Diana said and patted my back. I crossed my arms. "Thank you Diana." I thanked. "You should join us on some missions." Hawkgirl said. "I would enjoy that." I confessed. Batman walked over to me. "Now as much as I have enjoyed getting to meet all of you. I believe we have to go." I announced. Batman nodded his head and we left the Watchtower. "Well that was fun." I mumbled. "UMI." Damian shouted and plowed into me. "Hello my little angel." I cooed as I picked him up. I placed Damian on my hip and took off my mask. "How did that happen?" Jason asked. "Hush Todd." Damian snapped. "Well you are getting better." I commented. "Sorry Umi." Damian replied. "No honey, you are doing amazing." I complimented. Damian smiled and placed his head on my shoulder. Then Dick came through the zata tubes. "Hey mom do you know where Dami is?" Dick asked as he passed us. "Dickie honeyc he is right here." I said. "Oh wow I didn't even realize he was on you." Dick replied. "Hey mom I was wondering do you want to watch a movie?" Tim asked. "Sure Timmy Bear." I answered. "Just let me change out of my suit." I added. I sat Damian down on the bench next to the changing room and changed into my pjs. Damian sat nervously on the bench until I arrived. He launched himself into my arms. I caught him and carried him up the stairs to the living room. I sat down on the couch and waited for the others. Damian rolled onto his side and nuzzled into my chest. I smiled lightly at him and began playing with his hair. Soon his breathes turned into soft, deep breaths. Suddenly Dick bursted into the room. I stared at him bug eyed. Dick mouthed the word sorry. I mouthed back "it's okay." Soon we were all watching a movie. Dick curled up on my other side and quickly fell asleep. Luckily we had one of those couches where it was a Chaise lounge. Tim curled up next to me and rested his head on my stomach. I smiled lightly. "Goodnight Timmy Bear." I cooed. "Mhm goodnight." He replied sleepily and fell asleep. Jason who was hugging my legs breathes began to slow as well. "Goodnight Jay Jay." I whispered. "Goodnight ma." He said half awake. Soon I was covered in sleeping sons. I smiled lightly as I drifted off asleep.
