"Well that was awkward" Jess said
"Yeah" I said
"Are you okay" he asked
"Yeah it was just weird seeing him" I said
"Thank you for coming over before class" I said
"No problem but I do need to get going so I'm not late" he said then kissed me goodbye
He left and I was left alone with my thoughts. I didn't know why I was doing this but I'm doing it. I picked up my phone and called Brandon. It rang 4 times then went to voicemail
"Brandon uh hey it's it's um Alice look I don't know why I'm calling but I wanted to tell you that I moved on, you looked at me like I was glass that was about to break but I'm not I've moved on and I'm happy so yeah.I hope I never see you or hear Your voice ever again, I hate you. You're a coward and nothing more and I'm glad I got away from you Because imagine walking away from someone you love without an explanation as to why And leaving them wondering where they went wrong so yeah I hope you're a good this is the last time you'll hear from me. I'm going to Harvard in a few months and I'm going to live my life with Jess. I loved you but I need to let go so that's all goodbye" I said then hung up
