logic: if you went up into the glade, you'd definitely be very scared. everyone reacts to fear differently. people get antsy, shut down, angry, barely able to speak, etc. that makes sense.
what does not make sense is for the OC to be terrified when they're in the box, then are fine when they meet the gladers (sometimes friendly even), then twenty seconds later they're throwing stuff at them and screaming at them to go away.
it's like, okay.........what
make sure to place yourself in your character's position and make their reactions and emotions reasonable. the best thing to remember is consistency!
