The sound of a scream woke me up causing me to jump out of my bed and run over to the bed next to mine that my youngest sister sleeps in.
"shhhh..nothings going to happen I wont let it," I said comforting my sister till she had calmed down enough she wasn't screaming or crying, "just go back to sleep."
Once she was back asleep I decided to get up and start my day since I knew there was no going back to sleep. So I put my hair into its normal double braided buns and my normal hunting outfit.

As I reach the fence I heard two sets of foot steps meaning my two older brothers have come to join me like I knew they would.
"You didn't think you was going by yourself did you," a voice asked from behind me causing me to look at my two older brothers with a smile.
"No Anders I figured you two would be joining me eventually," I said then we all crawled under the fence and set off hunting after picking up our bows. Even though both our parents are dead and there is ten mouths to feed we've still managed to do pretty good for ourselves.
Anders started mining as soon as he turned eighteen right after our mother and youngest sister died of small pox. Our father passed away in a mining accident a few years prior to our mom passing. Our mom was seven months pregnant when the accident happened. My sister Lima, who would have been turning twenty this year but due to our mom getting sick had put her name in extra times in return caused her to be reaped for the 65th hunger games and she died on the third day from a spear to the stomach. She was trying to protect her ally who was only fourteen at the time. Apollo is my twin brother, but older than me by ten minutes. Apollo chose to go into the mines a year early to help bring in currency to make sure we don't have to put our names in extra. I got myself a job at the Mellark Bakery to help contribute as well. Together the three of us all hunt before we got to go to work and school on normal days. But since today is reaping day no one has to go to work. So we are hunting and then gonna take our kills to the hob.
