BRADY AND MAXINE have been talking a lot. whether that was facetiming, texting and sending each other voice messages. maxine loves talking to brady, a text from him always makes her day.
she didn't want him to leave yet.
since it was 11:30, she decided to get ready now. she stood up and went to her closet, picking out a casual but cute outfit to wear.
when maxine was happy with the choice of outfit, she went to her washroom to shower and freshen up, changing into her outfit. she looks at her phone to check the time, 12:00. an hour for her to do her make up and hair. perfect.

maxine was done getting ready, she only straightened her hair and did her normal make-up routine. she smiled at herself in the mirror, brushing her hair out.
someone bursts into her bedroom, startling her. "oh maxine!! what are you doing?" isaac's loud, annoying voice yelled. she rolled her eyes and gave her brother a stink-eye.
"what do you want isaac?"
"woah, where are you going." he questions her, raising a suspicious brow at her sister. "xo, you seeing this?"
he turned his phone, showing maxine. her eyebrows furrowed when she saw xochitl on isaac's phone, they were face-timing.
"she looks so cute!" her best friend exclaims, letting out a giggle. isaac scoffed at xochitl's response, clearly not agreeing with her. "be nice isaac!"
"why are you guys face-timing? you never get along." maxine asks suspiciously, applying lip gloss on her lips.
isaac stayed quiet, she looks over to him and he had a flushed face. maxine smiled to herself when she put two and two together.
"where are you going though?" xochitl's voice asked maxine.
"i'm going to hang out with brady." maxine responded so casually, like it was a normal thing that happened all the time. like her and brady were just friends.
except everyone knows that was bullshit.
"a date?!" both isaac and xochitl yelled out. maxine covered her ears in annoyance, shaking her head.
"no, just a hang out." she rolled her eyes and got a notification from someone on messages. her eyes immediately flash to her screen, feeling a grin creep up on her face.
she picked up her phone, shoving it in her butt-pocket of her jeans and grabbed her lip gloss. "alrighty, i'll see you love birds later. have fun talking to each other!"
maxine ran out of her bedroom, blowing a kiss. isaac's eye twitched in annoyance of his sister's teasing, groaning.
"i hate her so much."
"be nice isaac." xochitl scolded.
"yes ma'am."
