" Where you going baby?" Yannick questioned, as Teyana got out of the bed.
" I'm going to check on the girls." she answered.
" Don't take too long, I'm trynna cuddle." he said, making her laugh.
It was the night before the girls official first day of school. Teyana stopped in Mia and Raia's room first and neither of them were in there which confused her, because she had just put them to bed about 2 hours ago. When she got to Lannah's room she heard lots of chatter as she began to open her door.
" Why aren't y'all sleep? Y'all got school in the morning." Teyana said, scaring the girls.
" We can't sleep." Lannah answered.
" Y'all having nightmare or y'all just excited for school?" Teyana wondered.
" Excited for school." Raia answered, and Mia and Lannah agreed.
" Y'all want your sleepy gummies ?" Teyana asked, and they all nodded. She grabbed the bottle from their bathroom and gave each of them one.
" Mommy can you sing to us till we fall asleep?" Lannah asked.
" Yea I like when you sing to us." Mia chimed in.
" I guess I can sing y'all a lil something." Teyana said, before she cleared her throat.
" It all can get so out of control sometimes. You can lose your faith, you can lose your mind,lose your grip, get stripped of your pride. Till you don't know how you're gonna stay alive. And this world can throw you over the track sometimes, your friends can stab you in the back." Teyana sung.
As she sang for them they all cuddled next to her.

Every word Teyana sung she genuinely meant. If she had to she would lay her life down just for her girls.
" I love you mommy." Mia said, as she dosed off.
By the time she was done singing the song all of the girls were knocked out.
" Mommy loves y'all, sweet dreams." Teyana said, before leaving out of the door.
" I thought you said you just checking on them ? You been gone for like 15 minutes." Yannick said, as Teyana entered their room.
" The girls said they were having troubling sleeping, so I sung them to sleep." Teyana answered,getting in the bed.
" They always trynna hog you from me. Can't even get no alone time with my wife." Yannick said, pulling her closer to him.
