[The scene zooms into a wrecked Bellwood corner-shop. A television next to one of the shop windows, while on it's side and flickering, still works. It shows a Bellwood news report.]
Reporter: Reports are coming in that Vilgax has been defeated by Monstrous Man. Though the invasion is in fact over, the looting continues.
[A looter passes by the shop. He walks out of frame, and only his shadow cast on a nearby wall is seen. Another shadow drops from above and lands in front of him.]
Looter: Oboro! How's it going? Yea… it's been a while, I got all the money for you--
[Oboro unsheathes her daggers.]
Looter: No, no, no, please! I got the money! Waaagh!
[Oboro decapitates the looter with one swing of his sword. As his body drops to the floor, the shot pans round to show Oboro standing over the headless corpse.]

Oboro: You should have paid up sooner - you'd still have a head.
[Oboro sheaths her daggers and walks round the corner, through the devastated streets of Metropolis. He stops as a red blur flashes by him and immediately brings her daggers to bear. The same blur zooms by her twice more.]
Oboro: This isn't your turf anymore.
[The blur shoots by Oboro again. She lashes out with her daggers but is far too slow to hit anything.]
Oboro: I suggest you run back to your granfpa before your cousin comes here and scolds me.
[The blur heads straight for Oboro this time, bowling her over. It stops, showing that it is indeed Ben 10 as XLR8.]

Ben 10: Don't bother getting up, Oboro. You're going to jail without getting to touch Dax.
[Deathstroke gets up anyway.]
Oboro: Not without a fight!
[They fight. Even with her abilities, Oboro cannot keep up with the various transformations of Ben 10 and is knocked unconscious. With his opponent down, Ben radios in to his teammates.]
Ben 10: Ben to Asagi. I just went three rounds with Oboro.

Asagi: I'll contact Bellwood PD. I need you in Tokyo.
Ben 10: No problem. I'll--
[Ben stops in mid-sentence and brings his hands to his head as if in pain. His eyes briefly glow a bright yellow.]
Asagi: Ben! Are you OK?
[The pain stops as soon as it starts. Ben brings his hands down and shakes it off.]
Ben 10: I'm alright. Just dizzy.
Asagi: You've been running from city to city for hours. Forget about Tokyo, I'll ask your cousin Gwen.
Ben 10: I'm fine, Asagi. I just felt strange for a moment. I'm on my way to Tokyo now.
[Ben becomes XLR8 again and speeds off, leaving Oboro to pick herself off the ground.]
