it's was the first day of school and for the first time in a long time I would have to wake up at 6am to go to school
I went down for breakfast and I decided that I didn't want to change and wanted to go to school in my pyjamas cause I didn't care and wanted to get the first day drama over with

I sat at the kitchen counter and my mom was making pancakes

Mom: how are you feeling Kendall it's the first day of school

Me: uhh......idk mom I'm not feelin it last year was a blur for me and this year will be to

mom: well then I hope pancakes can fix ur mood oh and pls change u look like a mess

Me: k

I ate breakfast and went upstairs to change and I called Ari

Me: hey girl is daisy still picking us up

Ari: ya I'm in the car with Zenny we're on our way over be ready

Me: yeah kk cya

Ari: great here we are again I'm so over this school shit

Zenny: at least the guys are hotter this year comon girl this years goal is def to get a bf

Me: im good boys aren't rlly my thing I'll pass

Ari: Kendall NOTHING is ur thing except eating and dancing THATS ALL YOU DO GIRL we need to find u a man

Zenny: ya Kendall what Ari is saying is true ur need to socialize with people and I don't mean on insta I mean IRL

I wasn't listening to them all of my attention was on him this guy I've never seen before Who was he ? Where's he from? Why is he at my school I had so many questions.

Me: Uh Ari who's he

Ari: oh that's Connor he's not the dating type he's more the " one night stand" types

Me: oh ya ofc Connor....

I had to act as if I didn't like him cause if Ari and Zenny found out they'd never stop

End of the day :

The day passed by really quickly Ari and Zenny got picked up and I was waiting for my dad to come pick me up.

30 mins passed and he still wasn't here
and I heard a voice say

?: hey why are you still at school

I turned around it was Connor

Me: oh yeah I'm waiting to get picked up but my dads always late

Connor: oh well if you want I could drop u home

Me: oh uh not it's ok dw I'll wait

Connor: no no I insist I got my car yesterday and you'd be the first girl to sit with me

me: uh... ok fine

We were both in the car and tbh it was kind of awk

Me: Um Connor this is not the way to my house

Connor: ik I wanna take you somewhere first
