I bursted into my aunt room. Aubrey instantly jumped up and ran where I was. "What wrong?" Aunt Pam said. "Ma changed her number and she's not here! Days she went in at night she would be home around 6:00 am. but its 11:00am!!!!" I panicked. "Mommies missing?" Aubrey said crying. "No calm down babies we gone figure this out, don't think the worst!" She said grabbing us and hugging us. "Let's just go to her job and see if she's there" aunt Pam said. "Okay teetee" I said holding Aubrey. "I'll drive, now cmon lets go." Aunt Pam said. We all rushed out the door and she drove to the hospital my mom worked at. It was about 25 mins away. We got out of the car and ranned into the hospital. "Avery you and Aubrey sit in the waiting room." She said. We sat down and I held Aubrey because she was so scared. "Miss! Miss!" My auntie said to the lady at the desk. The lady at the desk continued talking on the phone being rude asf. Now we all know how aunt Pam turns up. "BITCH IM TALKING TO YOU I KNOW DAMN WELL YOU HEAR ME!" She yelled. I covered Aubrey's ears. "Excuse you!" The woman said. "EXCUSE MY ASS!" My aunt snapped. "Was Nurse Ann in last night?" She asked. "No" the lady said checking the sign in list with an attitude. "Wait a min now she texted us and said she had to go to work just LAST NIGHT!" Auntie said. "And she also texted her boss and told her she QUIT!" The lady said. "Now have a nice day!" The lady said getting back on the phone. "Oh no..." aunt Pam mumbled to herself. "He got her.." she said. I stood up shaking. "Who has her?" I said. "Your... your... your" she stuttered. "My what????" I said. "Your dad" she said crying. I've never seen aunt Pam cry like this. What I did know is that my dad was an abuser! "NO NO NOOOO!" I yelled. "we gotta call the police." I said. "No baby it's too soon it hasn't even been over 24 hours to report it. "Teetee I don't care!!! I want my mom!" I yelled. "Calm down" she said. Aubrey starts crying. I started crying. "Y'all please stop crying, teetee is gone fix this I promise!!!" She said in a weak voice. She then bursted out to crying extremely hard. She reached to sit down and the all of a sudden she stood there for a second and I yelled "aunt Pam are you okay?".. and then she SLAMMED TO THE FLOOR. "SOMEONE HELPPPPPP!" I yelled. Aubrey started screaming. Nurses immediately ran out trying to check her pulse. I was terrified, I was in a state of shock
