when you can't hear whats around you you realize a few things
like how you wish to hear everyones voice how something that simple can make you sad
you realize how little you know because now you have to learn a new way to live and thats lonely
you realize who are the people that care because not everyone wants the burden you bring
you realize many things and you realize just how little you knew yourself
because now when the world silent is when i realize just how loud my mind is and sometimes
it drives me insane
one thing i wish i hadn't realized was
im going deaf
how something small like trying to hear someone calling my name is no longer so simple
now hearing my name is something thats become a burden
its because something i hate
