Drawing clothes is a great way to boost your sketching skills in general. It opens your creative and imaginative mind and you can see a whole new world of colors.
There are many different types of apparel that you can choose from to sketch.
You can use the standard shape of the clothing you are drawing, but you can add your own flare to it. Maybe add words, designs, ruffles, folds, or cuts in the fabric to bring a pop to your new design.
When drawing fashion you don't always have to color in your sketch. Leaving it black and white can bring bigger detail and definition.
Adding wind or light to your sketch can add the real effect as well.
