Currently outside Kukui's house, Ash and Niku were training together. Before the training, Niku brought some old friends and others from before. Ash wanted to face a different Pokémon from Paldea, Niku was glad to do that and chose to bring out Kingambit, a Big Blade Pokémon.

Jumping in the air, Lycanroc proceeded to fire off multiple rocks at Lucario.
Niku: Really? Knock them away with your blade!
Doing as Niku said, Kingambit used the big blade on its head, knocking away the rocks to the side.
Ash: Lycanroc, use Accelerock!

Using Accelerock, Lycanroc quickly rushed towards Kingambit, hitting him but Kingambit showed no reaction and pushed Lycanroc back.
Niku: Not bad, Lycanroc is getting stronger, but not enough to defeat Kingambit.
Ash: Thanks, but we'll keep trying!
Lycanroc: Lycanroc!
Lycanroc continued growling at Kingambit, wanting to keep going.
