AT SCHOOL, I WAS NOW SAT WITH ERIC, JESSICA, ANGELA AND MIKE. When I looked up and saw Bella walking towards us. I smiled at her pulling a chair out for her next to me. Bella sits down next to me smiling.
"I'll kill Tyler if he gave me his flu." Jessica stated
"It's going around. My sister was so sick she couldn't come on our hike this weekend... so she didn't see it."
"And, maybe you should keep that to yourself." Eric told her
"We saw something, Eric." Angela told Eric
"I believe you." Eric quickly told his girlfriend
"No he doesn't. He's just trying to get lucky." Jessica stated
"Is that an option." Eric suddenly hopeful
"It was her black and huge; on all fours it was still taller than a person. A bear maybe." Angela told us
"Or big foot." I chuckled
"Or an alien. Lucky you didn't get probed." Mike stated
"We saw it..." Angela quietly stated but I still heard
She's serious and a little scared. I see that
"You're not the only one." I stated
"Yeah, everyone seems really scared these days." Bella stated
Everyone stares
"My dad's been getting reports at the sheriff's station. A couple hikers went missing. People are scared."
Now everyones chilled
"I did hear some guy talking about it at the store." Mike told us
"Last time you clowns doubt my girlfriend." Eric told us
Angela mouths "thanks." To Me and Bella. We all share a smile and join.
Clearing in the forest. The bike is aimed down a dirt road. Jacob runs through the instructions
"Brake?" Bella taps it
"Clutch?" Bella squeezes it
"Right. Gas?" Bella grips it
"You ready?" Jacob asked her
Bella nods. Jacob grins... then kicks starts the bike.
"Slowly...release the clutch." Jacob told her
I look at Jacob who watching Bella to make sure she was ready.
She does...the bike moves forward an inch me and Jacob cautiously steps back. She moves forward another inch
Bella turns around and her hand slips off the clutch, the bike bucks and falls on top of her. Jacob quickly lifts it off her.
