Nightmares

Aaravi~

My breath heaved....

"P-please." Someone was crying.

"P-please save him.." The same sound. The sound of the Woman, screaming for help.

She was crying and crying and...crying

My heartbeat fastened.....

Panic rushed through me. My body trembled looking at her crying for her child....

I have to save him...

My body felt numb...i can not walk!

"SAVE HIM!" a loud scream chimed in my ears!

I woke up. My eyes were wide opened, looking at the ceiling above, thankfully the lights were on.

I was breathing heavily. Tears started flowing down my cheeks and sweat was all over my face.

I looked at the celeing above numblessly. After some minutes of analysing what just happened, i got up from my bed and went to the bathroom.

I stepped inside and walked towards the sink. I opened the tap and poured cold water on my face, as the cold water brushed on my face, my closed eyes could see everything.....

That incident, I frozed at my place as the things started recalling in my head.

I opened my eyes, my breath was not steady. I looked in the mirror and for a minute. I was looking right in my own eyes. Cursing myself for every fucking thing that happened that day!

Just because of me that day, that women lost her everything!

'End of discussion, Raavi!' My mind screamed at me.

After refreshing my mind, i walked in my room and looked at the time it was 4 in the morning and i still had 4 hours left to leave for work so i dicided to sleep some more.

I lay down on my bed, overthinking everything that happened and i didn't even realized when sleep engrosed me.

In the morning, I heard a loud bang of my door. I woke up and looked at the time 8:23.

Crap!!

I'm late. This happens every fucking time. Everytime, whenever I have nightmares, especially of that night!

My worst night.....

I quickly got off bed and went towards the door, opened it, only to see mumma infront of the door, looking at me softly.

As i saw her a small smile appeared on my face, itself. "Good morning, mimi!" I greeted her while lazily going back to the bed giving her space to enter.

"Good morning, darlo. Chalo, now get up and go freshen up. Kaam par nahi jana, kya?" I nodded at her concern and giving her a quick kiss on the cheek, i quickly went to freshen up.
