My wife is the most gorgeous bride ever. When I first saw her in her dress, I just about died. Her neckline has that sexy deep V that I like, showing me a nice glimpse of her beautiful tits. It’s all tight until her arse and then flares out and sparkles, making her look like the princess she truly is. So, so beautiful. We all head to our suite where our wedding cake and meal are prepared. It’s so intimate with just the four of us, and I think it’s been perfect so far. I lift Steph into my arms as we cross the threshold, and she giggles into my chest.

“So cheesy husband.”

“It’s tradition, my beautiful wife, and I want to treat you like the special woman you are.” I kiss her nose, and she grins.

“Aww. You two are so cute!” Nikki squeals, and Jason grunts.

“I’ve got a little surprise for you, Steph.”

The photographer I hired snaps some candid shots of her shock. The next 20 minutes are spent taking photos with our friends and with one another. I thank them as they leave and signal the waiting staff to serve our meals. We sit down and share a warm but low-key wedding dinner.

For dessert we cut our cake that Nikki organised. It’s a chocolate mud cake with buttercream filling. It’s delicious and a perfect end to a great night. Nikki pulls out her phone and picks a song, and I recognise the tune. It’s Blessed by Thomas Rhett. I take Steph’s hand and lead her to the centre of the room, take her in my arms, and dance together for the first time as husband and wife.

'The lights are down, but you’re shining
Like you always do
Everyday I’m reminded
Of the miracle of you

You’re too good for coincidence
And too perfect for an accident
And I’m not sure where Heaven is
But every night I get a glimpse
And I know I’m blessed
Watching you spin in that dress
Making my heart beat out my chest
I can’t count the times I’ve heard
People say I’m lucky
But lucky ain’t the word, oh, I’m blessed
And all I ain’t got is my breath
You stole it the first time we met
You’re more than I deserve
People say I’m lucky
But lucky ain’t the word, oh,
I’m blessed

I keep checking you for halos
Swear, you’re an angel in disguise
You blow my mind from every angle, and I can see Heaven in your eyes

You’re too good for coincidence
And too perfect for an accident
And I’m not sure where Heaven is
But every night I get a glimpse

And I know I’m blessed
Watching you spin in that dress
Making my heart beat out my chest
I can’t count the times I’ve heard
People say I’m lucky
But lucky ain’t the word, oh, I’m blessed
And all I ain’t got is my breath
You stole it the first time we met
You’re more than I deserve
People say I’m lucky
But lucky ain’t the word, oh, I’m

Baby, you’re the kind of girl that I always prayed for
And I swear by my dying breath that I will be faithful
Oh baby, ‘cause I’m on my knees
Whoa, you make me believe

Baby, I’m blessed
Watching you spin in that dress
Making my heart beat out my chest
I can’t count the times I’ve heard
People say I’m lucky
But lucky ain’t the word, oh, I’m blessed
And all I ain’t got is my breath
You stole it the first time we met
You’re more than I deserve
People say I’m lucky
But lucky ain’t the word, oh, I’m
Blessed'
