Y/n felt her heart skip a beat as Jungwon's fingers entwined with hers. She tried to remind herself that it was all just an act, but her body seemed to have a mind of its own. She followed Jungwon into the classroom, feeling the eyes of her classmates on them.

As they walked past Minji, Y/n couldn't help but glance in her direction. She saw the look of surprise and confusion on Minji's face as she took in the sight of Jungwon and Y/n holding hands.

Jungwon didn't seem to notice, or if he did, he didn't show it. He led Y/n to their seats, which happened to be next to each other. Y/n tried to focus on the teacher as they started the lesson, but her mind kept wandering back to the fact that she was holding hands with Jungwon.

It wasn't until the end of the class that she realized how much of a mistake it was. As they were packing up their bags, Minji approached them.

"What the hell was that?" she demanded, pointing to their hands.

Jungwon smiled smugly. "What does it look like? Y/n and I are dating now."

Minji's eyes narrowed. "That's ridiculous. You can't be serious."

Jungwon shrugged. "Believe what you want. But it's true. Y/n and I are together now."

Y/n felt a pit form in her stomach as she watched the exchange. She knew this was all part of their plan, but it still hurt to see Minji's reaction. She tried to remind herself that Minji had been the one to break up with Jungwon, but it was hard to shake off the feeling of guilt.

As they left the classroom, Y/n felt Jungwon's hand slip out of hers. She looked at him, wondering if he was going to continue the act outside of the classroom, but he just smiled and walked off with his friends. Y/n watched him go, feeling a sense of confusion and uncertainty wash over her.

~ 3 hours later ~

Y/n jumped as she felt someone grab her from behind. She turned around to see Jungwon standing there with a mischievous grin on his face.

"Jungwon, what the hell?" she exclaimed, trying to catch her breath.

Jungwon chuckled. "Sorry, I couldn't resist. You looked so focused, I thought I'd shake things up a bit."

Y/n rolled her eyes, but she couldn't help but smile at Jungwon's antics. Despite everything that had happened between them, she was starting to enjoy spending time with him.

"So, what are you up to now?" Jungwon asked, falling into step beside her.

"I was just going back to my dorm to study," Y/n replied.

Jungwon's face fell. "That sounds boring. Come on, let's do something fun."

Y/n hesitated. She knew she should stick to her studying schedule, but a part of her was curious about what Jungwon had in mind.

"Okay, what did you have in mind?" she asked.

Jungwon's face lit up. "I was thinking we could go get some ice cream. There's a new place that just opened up down the street, and I've been dying to try it out."

Y/n couldn't help but smile at Jungwon's enthusiasm. "Okay, let's go get some ice cream."

As they walked down the street, Y/n couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. For the first time in a while, she felt like she was doing something for herself, something that had nothing to do with studying or grades.

Jungwon seemed to sense her mood, because he kept up a steady stream of conversation, telling her about his plans for the weekend and asking her about her own interests.

As they reached the ice cream shop, Y/n realized that she was actually having fun. It was strange to think that just a few days ago, she had been dreading the idea of being fake-dating Jungwon.

But now, she was starting to see him in a different light. Maybe he wasn't just a Playboy after all. Maybe there was more to him than she had initially thought.

Y/n and Jungwon sat down on a bench outside the ice cream shop, enjoying their sweet treats. Y/n savored the cool, creamy taste of her mint chocolate chip cone, while Jungwon devoured his cookies and cream sundae.

Jungwon suddenly pulled out his phone and held it up in front of them. "Let's take a picture," he said.

Y/n rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile. "Fine, but make it quick. I still have to study later."

Jungwon snapped a few photos of them, making silly faces and sticking their tongues out. Then he scrolled through his camera roll and selected the best one to post on Instagram.

As he typed out the caption, Y/n couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. Was this really necessary? Did they really need to flaunt their fake relationship in front of everyone?

But before she could voice her concerns, Jungwon had already hit the post button. He turned to Y/n with a satisfied grin on his face.

"Done. Now let's see how many likes we can get," he said.

Y/n tried to hide her discomfort and smiled weakly. "Sure."

As they walked back to Y/n's dorm, Y/n couldn't help but feel like she was walking on eggshells. She didn't want to do anything that would make Jungwon angry or upset, but she also didn't want to compromise her own values.

When they reached Y/n's dorm, Jungwon pulled her into a quick hug and whispered in her ear, "Thanks for today. I had fun."

Y/n smiled and hugged him back. "Me too."

As she watched Jungwon walk away, Y/n couldn't help but wonder what would happen next. Would they continue with this fake relationship, or would it all come crashing down? Only time would tell.

~ 2 weeks later ~

It had been two weeks since Y/n and Jungwon started their fake relationship, and things had been going smoothly so far. Jungwon had kept his promise and made a point to be extra affectionate with Y/n whenever Minji was around. Y/n had to admit that it was getting a little tiring, but she was determined to see this through until the end.

Jungwon's friend group had mostly stayed out of the whole thing. Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Niki were all busy with their own lives and didn't really have time to worry about their friend's love life. Y/n was grateful for that. She didn't want their fake relationship to cause any drama among their friend group.

One day, while Y/n was studying in the library, she received a text from Jungwon.

"Hey, I have a surprise for you. Meet me in front of the university in 10 minutes," the text read.

Y/n furrowed her eyebrows in confusion but decided to go along with it. She packed up her books and made her way to the front of the university.

When she arrived, she saw Jungwon standing there with a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

"Surprise!" he said, holding out the bouquet to her.

Y/n smiled and took the flowers. "What's this for?"

"Just because," Jungwon replied with a shrug. "I wanted to do something nice for my girlfriend."

Y/n blushed at the mention of being his girlfriend. She had gotten used to the idea of pretending to be in a relationship with him, but sometimes it still felt a little strange.

"Thank you," she said, genuinely touched by the gesture.

Jungwon flashed her a grin. "So, how about we go on a date tonight? I know this great sushi place that just opened up."

Y/n hesitated for a moment. She had planned on spending the night studying, but she didn't want to disappoint Jungwon.

"Okay, sure," she said, trying to sound enthusiastic.

Jungwon's face lit up. "Great! I'll pick you up at 7 pm."

As Y/n watched him walk away, she couldn't help but wonder what kind of surprises Jungwon had in store for her. She only hoped that this fake relationship wouldn't end up hurting anyone in the end.
