Anya was biting her nails and was walking to and fro thinking of a plan. She frustratingly pulled her hair sitting on the edge of the bed. She had promised her tayi that she will help her in bringing back Rehan bhai to life. She agreed only because Rehan bhai was her favorite cousin and ahem her recent crush but she wont tell that to anybody now would she? no absolutely not its just a stupid crush she will get over with in some time. What am i supposed to do Anya thought. She jumped from the bed as soon as an idea plopped in her mind.
Tiptoeing towards Rehan's room she saw how he was engrossed in his files ah at least this person should leave his files at office who in their right mind would bring work to home but its Rehan bhai we are talking about dear brain sighing Anya rolled her eyes and thought to bring her plan into action. She added some drops in her eyes and started weeping as if she was crying sitting on stairs outside his room. Since it was late at night and the house was silent Rehan heard someone crying and at once went outside to check who it was. Rehan saw her sitting on the stairs and crying her eyes out. When Anya spotted Rehan from the corner of her eyes she mentally smirked and patted her shoulders for such an amazing Oscar award winning performance.
Rehan sat beside her and passed her napkins she looked at him for a second took the napkin and thanked him in a low voice. "you know you can share" Rehan said. Anya raised her brow "look who is talking do i know any of your secret? no i don't then why should i share mine with you its a highly confidential matter and i cannot let anyone know about it." Saying so Anya started shaking her head and stood up to leave when not so gently she was pushed down "ouch that hurts Rio Bhai "ask whatever you want to know i will tell you but dont keep everything inside your heart and torture yourself." Anya looked in Rehan's eyes to see sincerity and care for her she nodded and asked in a very low voice "why aren't you on talking terms with taya abbu what is that you are hiding i want to know why dont you want to bond with anyone i miss my Rio who was full of life not this stupid Rehan Bhai" saying so Anya wiped few traitor tears which had escaped from her eyes seeing her cousin cum best friend being so distant and lost. Gathering more courage she added "Bhai you only asked me to tell you everything because bottling up everything inside would hurt me and torture me why are you torturing yourself please think about how much we love you share your problems with us please." Anya squeezed his shoulders to encourage him. Rehan let out a sigh "you wont leave without knowing the truth would you?" Anya in a kiddish way started moving her head from left to right. Rehan stood up and Anya accompanied him to terrace where Rehan started
