Epilogue

Fahad's POV:

The moment I heard the sound of heels, I knew she was here. It was dark so I watched from the shadows as she looked left and right for the light switch. The sound of crunch beneath her feet surprised her. Ah, that was probably the glass vase I had broken in anger.

"Shahbaz? Where are you?" Saba called out and a satanic smile took over my mouth. Oh but he wasn't here. She was in for a surprise of a life time. I could feel the fear in her voice and it added to the adrenaline rush I was feeling. Destroy. Conquer. Ruin. The devil within me whispered in my ear as I took three silent strides and stood behind her and waited.

"Hello Saba." I whispered near her ear causing her to flinch and turn around to look at me immediately. I saw her eyes widen as she saw my face in darkness. It took her a few seconds to respond which I used to grab her by the neck and smash her in the wall. With every passing second, my grip on her neck tightened. Her nails scratched my arm but I wasn't going to let go this easily. This is what she deserved for fucking with my brother. I could have lost Ibraheem for good. The anger within me boiled as I smiled at her. A smile that promised justice.

"Fa-Fahad. Let...go." She tried to breath but I continued to choke her. When I noticed her vision blurring, I loosened my grip just enough so she could breath. I took out a gun from the inner pocket of my coat and probed her abdomen with the gun. Her eyes widened as she froze completely.

"I don't like hitting women. At all. It's not my thing but for you, Saba, I can make exceptions." My voice was smooth, relaxed but it was anything but reassuring.

"I am sorry, please forgive me." She whimpered and the pity she was hoping I would feel died down even more than before. What a hypocrite she was. "I did it out of love, I didn't think he would shoot Ibraheem." It made things easier that she already knew her mistake.

I was about to strangle her again but just at that moment, her face flashed before my eyes.

"Fahad," Her voice sent shivers down my spine as it played in my head. I saw her cold, heartless eyes looking at me instead of Saba's. What the fuck was going on? Was I hallucinating because of the darkness? Why was I seeing her instead? I knew it wasn't real but it felt like she was standing right before me. She gave me a mocking laugh as her eyes widened even more. "Come on, do it. Kill me. Kill me Fahad, I know you want too." Rubab encouraged me and I let go of Saba almost immediately. The moment she touched the floor, Rubab's image disappeared almost immediately.

I snapped out of it and glared at Saba who was still holding her neck in pain.

"You have till tonight. Take your family and get the fuck out of Sindh. If I see you again, you will wish you had died right now." I warned her and she nodded her head quickly as she ran out of the door she had come from. I wasn't planning to let her go but her face stopped me.

I heard her laugh in my head as it slowly faded. I needed answers.

.....

Kamran's POV:

I had been watching her like a hawk the entire night, waiting for the right moment to pounce. Anushay. My beloved Anushay. She was mine. I finally found her.

But the moment her eyes met mine, her pace increased as she started to look down and head towards the exit. Why was she rushing? The food was yet to be served. Was she leaving? As if I would let her. I started fast walking behind her but someone stopped me.

"Bhai, where are you going? Uncle is calling you over there." Shamsher stopped me and I looked behind him to see her walking out of the exit. I glared at him causing him to wince in surprise. "What's wrong? Why do you look so pissed?"

I ignored him as I stepped aside and started running towards the exit. She should not get away. She can't. The moment I stepped outside I saw her enter a car. She looked at me with fear in her eyes and slammed the door on my face. I ran to her car and slammed my hands on the glass to stop her.

"Don't you dare run again, Anushay!" I roared but she ignored me as the car started to drive away. "I will find you! Mark my words! I will find you, no matter where you run!" I had no idea why she was running from me. I thought maybe she finally remember what we shared but it was impossible. I had to drag her back. I took out my gun and pointed it towards her car tire but I didn't want to turn the car upside down so I decided not to shoot.

Wassal was standing close by with a cigar in his hand. He watched the entire thing without batting an eye. His eyes were trained on the car that was driving away at a fast pace. The moment I turned to him, he handed me his car keys as if he knew what I wanted to do.

"Go on, bring her back." He said without asking any questions. I gladly took the keys as I sat in the car and reversed. I dialed another number as well.

"There is a girl named Zoya Ali who will try to leave on one of the flights. Early twenties. Find out what flight it is." I ordered one of my men and then hung up.

You are not getting away, Anushay. Not this time.

.....

Zoya's POV:

My hands were tied behind my back while my legs were tied together with rope too. I tried to break free but it was useless. The ropes burned my skin. Shit, how did I get myself into this? If only I had known that something like this could happen. If only I had seen it coming. I never should have gone back to Karachi.

The sack on top of my head made it harder to breath. I was starting to hyperventilate but then I heard footsteps. Someone took off the sack from my head and I felt like I was seeing death itself as it all came back rushing to me.

"Hello Anushay, or should I say Zoya?" The deathly smile sent shivers down my spine, scaring me to the bone. "It's been a while, yes? It's a pity. You almost got away."

.....

Rubab's POV:

The man before me kept looking at my face while trying to initiate a conversation. He was awfully cute for a man his age. His presence was soothing but I kept zoning out for some reason. Zoya really had a great taste in guy friends. I understood what she meant when she said 'he would keep speaking and all you would want to do is listen even if you don't understand a word.'

He was so different from a certain someone. I sighed internally as I remembered his mischievous grin and those playful eyes. I shook my head to get his image out of my head. Fahad is out of the question now. He is cancelled. He is out.

The moment I erased his image from my head, I saw someone who looked a lot like him, scratch that, I saw his doppelganger coming my way with a dangerous look on his face. Wait, that wasn't his lookalike. That seemed a lot like the real deal. Fahad stopped at our table and I didn't have the time to respond as he bent down and kissed the top of my head leaving me speechless.

"Hey babe, I was looking all over for you and-" Fahad spoke in a sickly sweet tone although his eyes said the complete opposite. He then turned to look at the guy accompanying me. "Oh, I didn't know you were sitting with company. I am Fahad Abroo. Rubab's fiancée. And you are?"
