"Open up baby" I smiled seeing my best friend with her daughter "good job amor thank you" Lauren smiled kissing her daughters head "Lena is getting big" I added cleaning up the happy baby "I know I can't stand it she's almost one my baby" I chuckled helping feed Lena, after Lena's lunch Lauren went to put her to bed I sighed looking around her living room of all the baby pictures and of her and Ty while she was pregnant,
I wonder when Y/n and I will start our family we been together for five years now. "thankfully she went down easily" I smiled getting out my thoughts "What you thinking about" she asked handing me a cup of coffee I chuckled taking a sip she drinks so much coffee now, "just seeing you and Lena makes me really want a baby" I mumbled "then why don't you guys have one I mean you're 23 this the perfect time to have a baby" I sighed looking down at the cup "I don't know Y/n always changes the subject and she always says maybe further down or whatever" Lauren rolled her eyes placing the cup down
"She's thinking like a child okay yeah she's a little younger then you but hello you're the one that's going to carry the baby not her" I chuckled nodding adding "why did I have to fall in love with a 21 year old" "why did I fall in love with a 34 year old" I laughed at Lauren's comment nodding.
After a day with Lauren and Lena I had baby fever I couldn't stop thinking about the day Y/n and I start our family, I walked in the front door and I quickly hear my wife's happy voice "baby is finally home!" I smiled walking into the living room seeing her in her sweatpants and sports bra "hola amor" I smiled wrapping my arms around her placing a kiss on her neck "hows Lauren and our goddaughter" I pulled away from the hug keeping my hands around her shoulders "they are perfect Lena took a few steps today all by herself" she smiled "awesome I can't wait for that nugget to learn to walk she's going to look like a little penguin" she added wobbling to the couch I bit my lip I thought she was going to say when we have our first kid,
"Shawn's bring Danny over tomorrow" I added looking over to my wife Shawn was going to visit tomorrow while Y/n had to finish up some stuff at her parents company, Shawn was bring his son also which makes me feel even more sad because basically all my friends have kids now and I want my own!
"Oh awesome what are you guys going to do" she added fixing up the paper work she brought from work "not sure yet" I mumbled she turned to me with a frown "Are you okay? You been kinda...I don't know" I went over sitting beside her on the couch "im fine" I added with a smile she shook her head "talk to me babe" I sighed turning to wrap my arms around her and lean my head on her shoulder she rubbed my back placing a kiss on my head,
We sat there for a while and I couldn't bring up the topic I have no idea why I couldn't talk to her about this, before we even thought about getting married we've always talked about kids and how cute it would be to see mini us running around.
"I want a baby" I mumbled shutting my eyes she stopped rubbing my back making me bit my lip "what I didn't actually catch that "i want a baby" I mumbled against her chest after a few seconds I hear her adorable laugh I pulled away and she faced me "that's why you been kinda upset all evening" I blushed leaning back on the couch she smiled pulling me onto her lap and kissing my cheek, "You really want a mini me running around this house?" I smiled stroking her cheek "yes more then anything actually" she chuckled sighing "well i guess I got call off work because we're going to try and make a baby"
Oh my god I have never felt so happy other then my wedding day in my life "really amor you really want to have a baby" she sighed still with her smile on her face "I mean of course I knew sooner or later we were going to have kids and I think we're ready for our first kid" I bit my lip trying to hold back my huge smile "I love you" she chuckled pulling me into her lips "I love you too babe"
