Blair's pov:

River and I walked north for what seemed like eternity. It seemed like we were the only ones on the face of the earth at the moment. No stores, gas stations or houses to be seen.

We finally had to stop for the night to get some rest. That night we stayed in the woods. River warmed the area up so it wasn't freezing.

"River do you think we made the right choice? Running away. I feel like we shouldn't be doing this, even if it was my idea." I said.

"Ever sense we left. They've got us attached to them somehow." River said.

"I was only in Fallen springs for two days." I said.

"I think were tired and were making things up because we can think strait." River said.

"Probably. Night River." I said.

"Goodnight Blair." River said.

I was wondering the woods of Fallen spring's again. Down the trail I got lost on and Katrina helped me find my way.

My red dress dragged slightly behind me with every step.

I heard Raven flying above me.

I started to run after him, but he was always to fast for me.

I found my way back to the pool, Raven and the horse were already there to.

I studied the horse this time.

He was at least sixteen hands tall, thick wavy main that went down past his shoulders.

His hooves were large and had no shoes, showing that animal spirits were indeed wild, free creatures.

He chomped on grass as I turned around to see those blue eyes.

They always took me by surprise, like I'd never seen them before.

I could see his muscles through his tight black shirt.

Which made my self consciousness already go down.

I wasn't tall, pretty or very skinny.

I was 5'3 average looking and I was 107 pounds at eighteen.

All those thoughts went away when he ushered me closer to him.

Then looked me over in my red dress and said,"Beautiful."

He touched the top of my arm and trailed his fingers down, leaving tingles.

"So beautiful and smart, yet you don't understand." He said.

"What?" I whispered.

"You need to go back." He said.

"Why?"

"I won't be able to save you if you go." He said.

"I don't understand." I said.

He put his hand in mine and my heart skips a beat.

"Come back." He said then brushed his lips against mine.

I woke up and it was still dark. I needed to find him. But River needed his family more.

I would go back after we found Rivers family.
