Alicia walked into the kitchen an Eliza went to rest in the couch.

"Hey"Chris said opening the freezer slowly,then pausing"im sorry forya know the stranger thing,I know she helped us an im thankful"

"You mean the Elyza thing"Alicia said looking past Chris into the freezer"its cool,an can you hand me one of those popsicles"Alicia finished

Chris reached in the freezer an grabbed two,he tossed one to her

She opened it"thanks" she said as she got up an walked outside 

Chris followed

"Nice view"He said 

"I noticed "she responded,turning around

Chris stuck out his tongue,She laughed an He smiled.

Elyza watched Chris an Alicia from the couch.She walked into the kitchen an looked around getting all the ingredients for a sandwich.

As she stared spreading mayo on the bread Alicia walked in

"Yum"She said eyeballing the unmade sandwich .

"Want one?"Elyza asked with a smile.

"Yes please"Alicia said sitting on the other side of the table.

Elyza handed Alicia the sandwich an began making hers.

"So your family..."Alicia said trailing off

Elyza finished her sandwich an sat down 

"My family"Elyza repeated an took a bite

"Um what happened to them"Alicia asked starting the second half 

"Well I had a mom,dad,little sister,an little brother.One night they all went out to get food.I stayed home.they never came back...Drunk driver hit them head on,cars slammed in behind them, They all died"Elyza said crying wiping the tears off her face"I was 10,I ran off after they tried putting me in foster care"

Alicia looked down at her plate

"Im sorry"she said sliding her hand into Elyza's

Elyza squeezed it."its ok,but I have to fight an live for them,that's how I stay sane"

Alicia nodded not knowing a correct response.

"I went to school though"Elyza said trying to lighten the air

"How" Alicia said looking up at Elyza 

"There was this really nice lady,she lived a few blocks from us,homeschooled her kids,they were my age,she took care of me, I did what she asked that included schooling"Elyza said"they hit Infected an i put them to peace"She looked blankly at her reflection in the water in her cup

"Come sit on the couch with me"Alicia said pulling on Elyzas hand.

Alicia led her to the couch.

Alicia pulled out a key.

"My dad,he died in a car accident,too.Its hard to get over,but eventually we do"She put the key back in her pocket an yawned.

Alicia instantly sat up an Chris ran in an looked at them "wheres mom an dad?" he asked running through the door

They ran out to the back.Chris saw his mom on the ground.He ran over to her an dropped to his knees.

Alicia leaned down an noticed the bite.

"Wheres Madison an Travis?"Elyza asked looking around

Alicia looked around,then got up frantically,She saw over the edge of the cliff an saw her mom an Travis on their knees in the water

"Ill get them "Elyza said.She pulled a 9mm handgun out of her waistband an handed it to Alicia "here"then ran to get them.

Alicia grabbed Chris an hugged him as he cried over his moms dead body.
