Those days are gone

Aubrey

"Jackson honey, I'm home!" I tossed my car keys on the kitchen island, and grabbed an apple from the centerpiece bowl.

I took a big bite and chewed on the juiciness of the ripe fruit, "Jackson?" I called once more in a whispered tone, knowing I'd heard something.

The sounds were coming from our master bedroom down the hall. I dropped my shopping bags, and undid my heels, holding them in my free hand, so I could be as quiet as possible.

I tiptoed silently down the hall to our bedroom where the hushed noises were coming from.

I had an idea of what was going on, but I just wouldn't let my heart believe it. I, Aubrey Adams, every right mans dream, could never get cheated on.

The thing that got me most, was that I was really hesitant to get in a relationship with Jackson, for one, he was 20, only a few months older and therefore wouldn't be able to handle me, but to my surprise Jackson met my needs, but I was still secretly into older men. Second, I was more into the single life, sleeping with anyone I pleased, and never having to be tied down.

But no, I chose to stay faithful to Jackson, even though it was not the best option for my life style. I could get any man I wanted, any time I wanted, so for Jackson to think he can cheat on me, he might just be the dumbest person I know.

Pushing the door open, confirmed my suspicions. There my boyfriend of almost two years, laid naked in bed with another naked girl on top of him, fulfilling his every need. But no, not just any girl, I recognize her by her light brown complexion and dark wavy hair. My best friend.

"I can't believe you two!" I said loud enough to compete with their noisy moans.

They both turned around to face me, they look like they've seen Casper. "Aubrey?" Jackson pushed Sara out of his way, and climbed out of the bed. He didn't even care about putting on his boxers, it's nothing we both haven't seen already, "Aubrey, baby I can explain."

Jackson held onto my wrist to stop me from leaving, pulling me closer. We were so close our noses were just barely touching. "Please don't go." He whispered into the crook of my neck, but I still heard him. He looked into my eyes, and I remembered what lured me in almost two years ago; his light blue eyes, the color of the morning sky, honey blonde hair, and pouty pink lips that I loved so very much from day one. "You know I love you."

I did know he loved me. I couldn't do anything as he tenderly kissed and softly bit on my neck, I knew I'd be left with a handful of hickeys, but I was frozen to the spot. My head rolled back in response to his soft kisses. He repeated softly, "I love you." As he took a step closer, I felt his manhood against my thigh, and that broke me from his trance.

Though his kissing and love making made me weak, it could never make me forget what he's done. I took a disgusted look of my best friend since elementary school, sitting in the bed, rapped in my sheets, watching in envy. It's obvious now, that through all these years she's been jealous of me, and my relationship with Jackson.

Just for show, I teased him, by tracing kissed down his neck and lower, I put a hand on his six pack, and slid down his abdomen, I felt him harden against me. As weak as I got for Jackson, he got even weaker for me. I cruelly gave him one last deep kiss, and used my hand on his chest to push him back. Oh how, cruel of me, I knew what that little act was going to do to him. But I wouldn't stay long enough to see him hungry for me to touch him, and love him like I used to. Those days are gone.

"You don't love me enough." I told him, and left the bedroom calmly. He wouldn't chase after me, because I know after that hurt look I gave him, he'd know it was truly over. I didn't even bother to pick get my shopping bags. I'd have someone get all my stuff later today. For now, I just had to get away from the two main people in my life, and start a new one without them.

I hope you enjoyed the first chapter. I know it's short but they will get longer.
