Nafl prayers (voluntary prayers) are great enhancements to your everyday compulsory prayers. The Prophet (pbuh) used to do complete them on a regular basis, and who better to follow than the greatest example to all of mankind?
If you haven't made a habit of it already, add more sunnah and nafl prayers along with your Fard prayers. This includes the two units before Fajr, the four before and two after Dhuhr, the two after Maghrib, and the two after Isha before witr. Apart from gaining rewards for praying, you will receive a great house in Jannah for everyday you pray the twelve sunnahs. An additional house per day is added if you pray the four units of Duha (after the sun rises, before Dhuhr adhan). Two houses a day, times thirty days of Ramadan. Thats sixty uniquely decorated houses in Jannah right there! Don't you want that?
