A note on names:

Maeve   ( May  • eve  )

From an old Irish name Madb (or Medb), "the cause of great joy" or "she who intoxicates."  Maeve appears in Irish mythology in two forms, one as the powerful warrior queen of Connacht, the other as the queen of the fairies.

Faolan  ( Fay • lan )

Comes from the word faol ""wolf."" The earliest record of the name seems to be for a follower of the warrior Fionn Mac Cool (read the legend) who was so loyal that he would have rescued Fionn from captivity, even from God himself.

Maicoh  (  May  • co  )

The Navajo (Native American) word for wolf. It also means a person who could transform if he or she donned a wolf skin. Native American tribes recognized the wolf for its extreme devotion to its family. The wolf's superior and cooperative hunting skills made it the envy of many tribes.
