Chapter 1: AnUnexpected Friend

"Chiko!" I heard two familiar voices behind me and turned around. "Good morning Mika, Haru!" I waved calmly at the two running towards me. "Aren't you excited?! We're finally junior high freshman students! We are starting a new life!" exclaimed the usual happy cheerful Mika. "I don't think its that exaggerated." laughed Haru. I gazed at the two now walking on either side of me. I'm so glad we were able to enter the same school.

Suddenly I heard loud fangirl screams, I had already predicted that this would happen and its because of two particular people. It was my older twin brothers, Sanada and Kanada. Mika leaned towards my ear and whispered, "Whoa, must be tough having so many brothers and being the only girl in the family." Haru joined in and said "Not to mention you've got a great responsibility to take care of them and the other girls are sure to envy you just like in middle school except it'll be a longer time this time since this school has a longer period. Can't be helped that one is an idol and two is popular huh." I couldn't help but let out a sigh.

"Why so sad little sis?" I turned around, startled by Kanada whom was standing behind me and had put an arm around me. I saw the other freshman girls looking at me with jealousy. "By the way, Aoi said he'll only be at school by 10, says he's got a vocal training session today." I noticed the other girls and some boys staring at us. Oh yeah. We're freshmen, so they don't know we're siblings, I realized. "Kanada, don't go scaring people early in the morning. Come on, we're the hosts for today's morning opening ceremony remember?" Sanada came over and dragged Kanada by the collar, "See you later." he said with a wink before heading towards the school gate with Kanada by the neck. I heard whispers around me and I could feel the stares trying to pin me. I put up a front and told Mika and Haru "You guys go ahead, I just remembered I need to do a little something." Before they could answer, I ran off and made a turn to the left of the school.

I made my way to the back wall of the school, I looked for a nearby tree and found one with one of its long branches facing the school. I aim my watch and clicked the glass screen, the adjuster pops out with a long elastic steel string. It hooks itself on the branch I needed and I use it to glide up the tree. Once on the branch I retracted the string. I dust my skirt before running off the branch, I jumped off at the edge and was going to land in the school's backyard when suddenly I spotted a guy standing where I was going to land. "Watch out!" But he didn't hear me so instead I ended up using his shoulders as a support for another jump to avoid us crashing each other. He stumbled and fell from the shock as I landed on my feet.

"Watch where you're going!" He exclaimed before staring at me. "I'm really sorry!" I exclaim. I then noticed his stares and asked "Erm...yes?" He looked at me in the eye and said "Chi? Chizuko Sakura?" I carefully checked his features when suddenly a dog tag around his neck caught my eye. It said'SxC, I thought for a moment before exclaiming "Shu?! Shun Nikano?!" I rummaged through my bag and took out my dog tag which had the same initials, they were exact. He grinned at me, "Long time no see, Chi."

I helped him up. "What are you doing here? Didn't you move to another part of the world?" He had changed his looks, his hair was a light brown colour with black hair at the roots and had a few chunky bracelets around his left wrist with a band on his right. He also had a cross necklace. I noticed a small initial tattoo on his right collar bone with the initials S.N but before I could ask about it, I felt a slight sharp pain on my forehead. He had also looked at me from head to toe before flicking my forehead. 

"What do you mean another part of the world, all I did was move out. I see you got a new look. How's aunt and uncle?" "Around the world as always. Thanks, I had thought it was time for a new look. You look different too." I say as I rub my forehead. I had grew my hair to my waist and dyed it to a medium brown with streaks of lighter brown and I wore a punk styled bracelet on my right wrist, I also had pierced more earrings. "Check it out!" I show off my blue and purple underlights to him.

Shun had stayed with us, the family of 10, since we were 5 until he had decided to live by himself at age 13, his parents had died in a car accident and Mother and Father had decided to be his guardians as we were childhood friends and they were on good terms with his parents, even though honestly Leo and Akihiko ended up being the guardians as they're always working around the world. "Whoa that's wicked! Where did you get them done?" he exclaimed.

"I can't believe you managed to make it to Niji High, it's quite a good school you know." He shoots me an annoyed look. "Hey, don't underestimate me, what's more I'm a newborn leader now." He smiles, smug. "Let me guess, you've became another group's leader haven't you? Something must be wrong with their eyes and mind, just because you can throw knives accurately with that hawk eye of yours and defeat their old leader it doesn't mean anything when you can't even do algebra so why did you decide to take up a leader's role in the first place?" I exaggerate on the word 'algebra'.

"Haha, you know me so well Chi, but I got it under control, relax." He elbows me. "Oh really? With that uniform?" His pants were clearly not ironed, his belt was two holes too loose, making it tilt at an angle, the first and last two buttons on his shirt were unbuttoned, his tie hanging loosely around his collar. He clearly wasn't going along with the school's dress code. "It's my style." he shrugged his shoulders. "Come on, we're gonna be late for the opening ceremony." He grabs my hand and started walking towards the school building, I look at him before looking down at the ground as we walked together. I couldn't help but smile, can't be helped huh? Looks like this four years are gonna be full of unexpected fun.

I entwined our fingers.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

(2015) How's the story so far? Not too bad right? Can you feel the start of the romance?! But by judging this plot, you probably already know my age group. (^_^'ll) I hope you'll give some feedback and if you notice anything, feel free to send me a message. Although I do check it at least 3 times, I can make mistakes, I am human after all xP. Chapter 2 will come soon, maximum waiting time judging from my schedule would maybe be a day(tmr) or two or above. That's all for now, peace out! :D  

(2016) Hey peeps how's the story so far? Hope it ain't too boring. This ones been edited. Hope you liked it. Just so you peeps know, this book is just about a fanfic fiction. I started this for fun, and I shall carry on that way.

(2017) My god I cringed so hard at the English I put into this story from 2015. Finally edited with proper English and tenses and grammar and all that stuff. Hope you liked this chapter :)
