i was sitting talking to a few of miles' cousins when mrs and mr morales called me over

"that girl looks old enough to vote...i bet she doesnt even speak spanish"

i followed their eyes

"what the.."

she started yelling at him then boom

"when did mrs morales get up there"

"man...that woman is very fast" mr morales said with a sigh following behind her waiting for me to come

by the time we got there mrs morales was giving her he jacket back and mr morales was helping me up

"thank you.."

"and you must be jeff"

i internally cringed...

"ah...first names.." i said

"i...dont know you though" she said turning to me

i recognize that face

"...youre the one who miles' hand got stuck to"

miles sighed in disappointment

"my name is y/n"

"uh nice to meet you (she messes your name up)"

i glanced at miles then back at the girl

her watch started making sounds

then she left

miles looked upset so his mom let him go...but he didnt and he looked over at me

"..i trust you miles...dont make me regret it" i said giving him a hug and his phone before climbing down the tower

i decided to just go home..i dont want to overthink...i sat in my room silently

i grumbled to myself before getting in the shower

then i took a very long nice nap
