7 minutes in heaven

I'm sorry

The weekend went by and it's school again, but atleast it's the last week before summer break.

Sam, Henry and I arrive to school. Me and Henry go to the rest of the group.

I told Hazel everything that happened
Friday and Saturday. She got excited and now she thinks Kai likes me, which I highly doubt.

The bell rings and we head to our classes. Me and Henry have Science class together. When we get there we sit together. The teacher starts talking but no one is ever listening.

"I didn't get to ask, but did you and Kai kiss at the party? I asked him but he keeps on changing the subject" Henry says as he turns to me

Nooooo. Why did he have to ask me. He could of just kept annoying Kai. Whatever. I'll just tell the truth because it's going to come out anyway

"Yeah, we kissed" I say, while looking down

"Oh" Henry says and looks down as well

"I see you and Amelia are hitting it off again" I say, as that is the only thing that comes to mind when I try to change the subject

"You're not mad, are you?" Henry says and looks at me

"I... no, I'm not."

"You can't be mad, you kissed my best friend" he says angrily

"Ok. Firstly he cornered me and I'm glad he did, because your to scared. Secondly I'm your best friend too, remember and thirdly, when you started having sex with Amelia, you didn't even care to ask how I was felt about it. She stabbed me in the back. LITERALLY. So I'm sorry if I'm mad that you're fucking the girl who left me and Hazel for popularity and spread rumors about me!" I say filled with rage and anger

Shit, why did I say all of those things. I regret it so much.

I'm such an ass. He's going through stuff and I'm here getting mad at him. My baby. My poor baby.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to go all crazy. It just kinda hurt what you said" I say hoping he didn't take it to hart

Why is he looking at me like he just saw a ghost?

"Kai Michaelson, cornered you? Sky Hensler??" He says.
I can see he's trying to keep calm

"Yes.. but, it's fine. He asked if I was okay with it... and I said yes. Don't get mad at him. Please" I say, holding his hands

"Whatever" Henry says and turns forward.

He didn't speak to me the rest of the period.

The rest of the periods go on, then it's break time

Me and Hazel go to the cafeteria and see the boys already there. I sit next to Kai, not on purpose. Henry gave a death stare. Hazel sits next to me

While everyone was talking, Henry was just sitting there and looking at Kai with the most scariest eyes ever.

"Baby, you mad at me?" Kai says and takes a French frie from Henry

"I don't know. You gonna push me into a corner and make me kiss you?" Henry says in a aggressive tone

"What?" Kai asks confused

I whisper in his ear to tell him what happened in Science class

"Hey man, I did asked her. I didn't ju-" Kai says, trying to explain but Henry cuts him

"Just stop, I don't want to hear it" Hanry says annoyed
He stands up and storms out

"Why is Henry leaving?" Laim asks with a mouth full of fries

Anyway, what have I done?

I look at Kai with a regretful look

Kai looks at me. I can see it in his eyes, he's trying to tell me that it's okay

The day goes by and we go home.

I went to Henry's house ,after I got changed into other clothes, to see if I could talk to him

I just knocked on the door. I am just waiting patiently for someone to open the door.

The door opens. Finally
I see a big tall man standing infront of me.

It's Henry's dad.
I totally forgot that he's in town

"Sky. Hi, what do you want?" Mr  Wilkinson asked in the most polite why someone can ask, what do you want

I'm actually deadly afraid of him. He's scary. I mean when the first time he was here while I was here, I spilled water on Henry's shirt and he was MAD. It wasn't even his shirt it was Henry's

"Hi, Mr Wilkinson. I just wanted to talk to Henry" I said and gave him a smile.
My heart is beating so fast right now.

"Henry, come down here" he says in a aggressive way

Henry comes down.

His face. It's all bruised. This soon. It hasn't even been 3 hours since we got back from school. Poor Henry, he probably did nothing to deserve this

When Henry looks at me, his eyes lid up, but then he went stone cold

"You're friend here wants to talk to you" Mr says then leaves.

"I'm only coming with you so I don't have to be here anymore" Henry says  and walks out the door.

Henry and I usually drive to the beach when we need to talk, so I knew he was headed to his car.

We get in the car and go to the beach. When we get there we sit down next to a big rock.

"How many more days?" I ask trying to start a conversation

"Tomorrow is his last day" Henry says quietly

"Look, I'm sorry it made you mad that Kai and I kissed, but that's just seven minutes in heaven Henry" I say apologetically

"No, you shouldn't be the one apologizing, I am. I was an ass and you were right. I never did ask how you felt about me and Amelia. I'm sorry" Henry says apologetically

"It's okay" I say in a soft tone, looking down

"No, it's not. It was foolish of me to get mad at you and Kai kissing. That's literally how the game works" Henry says. I can see he's annoyed with himself

"Hey" I say, turning towards him. taking his hand and holding it "you've been going through alot with your dad being here and all, so I completely understand. I mean I would get mad about the silliest things too, so it okay" I say in a soft tone, then put my head on his shoulder. "I just wish I could help"

"Talking to you helps" he says then puts his head on my head

We stayed in peaceful silence for a while

"I should probably get back. You know how my dad is" he says and gets up

"Yeah" I give him a smile while getting up
