A tall tale

The sky was always stable, it stayed how it was. It felt like it was something stuck to the universe at all times. Up there, the four, but now three diamonds lived.
It was also known as Homesky.
Pink used to live with them but one day she got tired of them constantly mistreating her and she left in a fit of rage and flew down to the ground below the clouds, and walked around for a while.
The grass felt so werid so walk around on, there were lots of pretty flowers, something Pink was not used to seeing.
Usually, it was just white fluffy clouds and a whole lot of nothing
There were lots of trees, it was the middle of summer but there was still a pleasant breeze flowing. It felt so unatural for her to see something so...nautural?
Continuing down an invisible path not knowing exactly where to head, Pink saw a slightly more darker appeal to nature.
A shadow fell over a side of the forest Pink was, making Pink curious. Pink continued in that direction. There was a decently
sized lake, with lots of moss and logs all over the floor, with a few small rocks aswell. Looking infront of her was something that would chnage her fate forever unknowingly to her.
Pink sprung at the unique hole in the ground that led down.

❝ Oh, a cave. ❞

She walked inside, or rather fell inside.
Pink was scared but still got up, in a huge amount of pain from the fall she took. She was bleeding heavily. Looking down at her gem, it was fine. She looked up, the hole mustve been the deepest hole she'd seen because she could smell boiling lava.
She dragged herself up and slowly walked around, after a while of walking the cave seemed to loop into a maze because she had soon found a glowing essence coming from one of the many turns you could take in the dark cave only lit up by lava.
It seemed like an odd glowing white crystal, on the floor. Pink was tried and fell to the floor but crawled to get the odd gem and stared at it for a few moments before everything disappeared.

It went from a few minutes,

to a few hours,

to a few days,

to a few weeks,

to a few years,

to a few ?̶͍͇̯̗͉̟̖̇̏̆̾́͛̓͋͌̊̒͂̓̿̕?̸̛͉͙̣̣̝̼̭̼̝̼̼͍́̃͋̒̒̂͑̇̒̏̍̈́́͑̏̄̚̕͝͝?̶̡̧̛̛͖͖̥̭̝̺̺͍̳̪̩̺́͌̎̓̾̉̂̿̋̂͊̅̓̿̄̕͜͜͝ͅ

But hey whos counting right?

Her werabouts were unknown now, and the diamond authority was heartbroken over her disappearance. She was pronounced dead, not making it any better. Blue took it the hardest, she always
punished Pink by forcing her to stay in some werid locked room for long periods of time, she never made her happy, whenver she was around Pink was either uncomfortable or sad, or both. She never really showed any real show of affection for her either, other then the occasional gifts or maybe talking to her for about ten minutes. She used to find her annoying but that was her biggest regret instead. She knew that Pink thought she or rather any of them cared for her at all, because after her disappearance she went into her room and read her journal, only making her more depressed by the tragic event. For years she had mourned her constantly not knowing how to comfort herself, she wanted to fix her sinful mistakes but she couldn't anymore, it was too late and to her she died without knowing she really did care about her even if she never got the unfortunate time to show it. Pink was basically her child (to her) and she always felt like that. She was the youngest and she always gave off this naive kid personality to her. Everyday was a constant loop and reminder of her mistake, and she always felt guilty about that, and would spend at least an hour crying over her, every day. Yellow was never the crying type and didn't want to even acknowledge her disappearance, not because she didn't care for her, she did but to her crying felt like a weakness she couldn't show as easily as Blue could, she felt guilty for not being able to protect her, they're last interaction was Yellow getting mad at her for not being able to do anything right. Yellow still felt the same amount of pain of Blue did but buried it instead of grieving and just distracted herself by doing what she does best,
work. Sometimes she would comfort Blue when she felt it was necessary.
White lived in complete denial. She constantly pretended that she lived in a world in her head, one where she wasnt there.
