Apologize
He was never one to apologize
She had just said her final goodbyes
He felt horrible inside
But soon he realized
There was no way to rectify this
No matter what he said he could not justify
The way he made her hurt on the inside
He didn't dramatize
They both had solemn eyes
He had no solid alibis
Problems lie across the solid white lines
You just need sharper eyes
Especially when your father arrives
For a holiday surprise
Make sure to keep watchful eyes
Cause knowledge can disqualify
You may be surprised by the end of the night
When you hear him speak a fake apology
Just because your father could see behind the solid white lines
