Chapter 68

I slowly blink my eyes, debating whether I should get out of this warm cosy bed or stay for just a bit longer. Yawing, I turn to my side and grab my phone from the side table, opening it to see that it's 10:20, the usual hour I wake up. 

I go on to spend the next 30 minutes of my day just laying here, scrolling through all my social media, checking to see if anything happened while I was asleep.

I turn to look towards the side once I feel movement. I slept at Felix and Ian's apartment last night since it was too late to go back home, and I also wanted to help him unpack his stuff today so.

Ian is still sleeping, so I'll just get up brush my teeth and go make myself some coffee. I grab my phone with me and go to the bathroom first. Grabbing a spare toothbrush that Felix had in the cabinet, I start brushing my teeth as I'm listening to a voice message from Elise.

"Chloe omg! I need your help! So, you're not going to believe this, but a guy dm me last night and omg, he's totally my type. He has green eyes, chocolate brown hair and he's tall and omg he seems so nice! He asked me out on a date today for lunch, what should I wear? I don't want to seem like I'm too excited about this even though I am, so what do I do? Help me, girl!"

Wow. Elise finally found someone! Well, she found a potential boyfriend, that's a first for her, but my God is it too early for this.

I grab my phone once I rinse my mouth and record a voice message for her.

"Elise honey I'm happy for you, but don't get your hopes too high, just in case this dude ends up being a trashy person! Now, onto more important things, where are you meeting him? What time are you going out? Text me before you go, text me once you are there, text me before you leave and text me when you get home, okay? Now to the nonimportant things, wear whatever you want to wear. Wear a signature Elise outfit, okay? Good, " I say and send it.

I go to the kitchen and start making coffee for me and Ian cause he'll probably wake up soon. I close the fridge and that's when I notice a note from Felix left on there. I grab it and lean my elbows onto the counter, reading it.

"Good morning babes! I'm going to be out all day, so you two can unpack everything and have some privacy, so you're welcome. If you are going to take any rides though, please for the love of God the only destination better be his bedroom.

P.S I'm going out with Eddie btw so wish me luck when you read this mentally.

Good luck Felix, I say in my head, putting the note down and going back to finish our coffees.

I tuck at the collar of the t-shirt as I stir the coffee and milk. Since I wasn't prepared to spend the night here Ian gave me one of his oversized t-shirts to wear to sleep and it's so soft and comfy. Naturally, it's even more oversized on me, it reaches my mid-thigh.

I hear the water in the bathroom running, which lets me know that Ian is awake and right on time for a warm cup of coffee. Right as our coffees are ready, I feel a pair of hands wrap around my waist, pulling me back to a hard chest.

"Good morning beautiful, " he mumbles.

"Good morning handsome, " I say as I feel his lips touch my neck.

He places a few kisses on my exposed neck, making me squirm.

"Do you want breakfast?" He asks, resting his chin on my shoulder.

"Yeah, what would you do?" I say.

"Let's see what's in the fridge, " he says, squeezing my waist once before letting go of me and moving to the fridge.
