جب کوئی بات بگڑ جائے،
جب کوئی مشکل پڑ جائے ،
تم دینا ساتھ میرا،
او ہم نوا..

                    ✨M I R A A L✨

I walked into the kitchen and saw chachi standing behind the counter. I smiled and walked up to her, putting my arms around her waist with my chin on her shoulder, I hugged her tightly.

"Uth gaya mera bacha?"

I grinned at her from ear to ear and replied,

"Jee chachi, uth gaya apka bacha. Ab zara apnay bachay ko acha sa nashta bhi karwa dein?"

Chachi laughed and patted my cheek while shaking her head.

"Abhi laati hun bus."

I walked away from her and sat on the dining table, waiting for my breakfast. It had been no more than a few minutes when Ibaad walked inside the kitchen and sat right next to me.

"What's up, Ibbi boy?"

He looked at me with an angry expression, making a smirk break out on my face.

"Aapi, kitni baar bola ha, it's Ibaad."

"Aw, meray bhai ko ghussa aa raha ha?"

He swatted my hands away as I continuously tried to pinch his cheeks.

"Bus bhi kardo tum dono. Ibbi, kyun tang kar rahay ho barri behen ko?"

I burst out laughing like a maniac, while chachi tried to hold back her smile.

"Zara sharam aati ha aap loug ko iss maasoom jaan per zulm kartay huway? Dekh lun ga sub ko"

He walked away while pretending to wipe his tears.

Chachi set my breakfast in front of me and took a seat beside me.

I grinned at her and kissed her cheek while thanking her.

She smiled back at me and patted my head. Her expressions suddenly turned into one of worry.

"Miraal, hamza se baat huyi ha betay?"

I glanced at her as my mind diverted back to the conversation we had yesterday. I knew what she meant by that. Suddenly, I was no more feeling hungry. She figured out what was going on in my head by the look on my face.

"Oh, mera bacha. Tum pareshan na ho. Tumharay chacha jaan apni puri koshish kar rahay hain bhaijaan ko samjhanay ki. Tum tau jaanti ho na apnay baba ke mizaaj ko? Filhal wau bus thhora pareshaan hain. Kuch din thehar jao, unhein khud ehsas hojayega unka faisla buhat galat ha.."

I felt my heart drop a little. Faisla?

"Kaisa faisla, chachi?"

The realization dawned upon her, that I was not already aware of what she just said.

"W-wau, tumhari Hamza se baat nahe huwi?

I looked at her with a frown etched upon my face. Was Hamza hiding something from me?

"Baat tau huyi ha, he told me about-"

I was cut midway by the door of the living room being pushed open. I saw a furious looking Hamza walk in, with Ibaad behind him.

I stood up and looked at him with a confused expression. Before I could ask him anything, he walked closer to me and said,

"Pack your bags, Miraal. You're going with me."
