Chapter 10

Steph's POV

I got a call from Lena saying her Hayden and Callie were on their way home so I called for all of the kids to come down stairs

Steph: Marianna, Jesus, Jude, Brandon, Halley come down here please

I watched as all of the kids came down the stairs

Marianna: what's going on 

Steph: Mama just called and they are on their way home now

Halley: Hayden is coming home

Steph: she is. Now I want you all to go and get cleaned up, mama wants to take everyone out for dinner tonight

Brandon: You heard mom lets get moving

I watched as all of the kids started to go back upstairs Halley stopped and came back

Steph: what's the matter Halley?

Halley: can I call you mom too?

Steph: only if you want to

Halley: I do

Steph: go get ready

Halley: ok mom

Halley took off up the stairs to where Marianna was waiting for her, shortly after Lena, Callie and Hayden came home

Steph: Oh Hayden it's so nice to have you back home

Hayden: I'm happy to be back

Callie: come on Hayden lets go upstairs and go get ready for dinner  (Callie and Hayden go upstairs)

Lena: It's so nice to have all of the kids home again

Steph: it is

Lena: after you and the kids left last night Hayden told me that Donald isn't her biological father

Steph: how does she know this she has the same last name as Halley

Lena: she said her mom told her 2 weeks before she died

Steph: I don't get it

Lena: Remember Callie's last name was Jacobs too but Donald wasn't her biological father it ended up being Robert

Steph: is that who she thinks her father is?

Lena: she didn't say, but after Hayden fell asleep Callie told me she thinks Robert is Hayden's father

Steph: we can't tell Hayden yet, who knows if Robert will sign the papers, it took a lot for us to get him to sign the papers for Callie

Lena: I agree

Steph: let's not worry about this right now we can worry about this tomorrow lets just enjoy having all of our kids home

(yelling from upstairs)

Brandon: Marianna lets go, there are others that need in the bathroom!!

Jesus: Mari come on!!!

Lena: I did not miss this

Steph: get moving kids we are leaving in 10!!

Hayden's POV

I was sitting on Callie's bed after I had gotten dressed and Halley was in the bathroom with Marianna getting ready

Hayden: Callie?

Callie: yes

Hayden: when do you have to leave?
