Before continuing with the story, I just wanted to give some fun facts. In those days people attended weddings of far relatives. That was a way of showing respect. Plus if the invite comes from your daughter’s in laws side of the family then it would be disrespectful to not attend. Another thing about matrimony in those days were that it was usually by word of mouth. There was no concept of matrimony sites etc. Hope this information helps
