It was 6 in the morning when I woke up. Ari was laying next to me knocked the fuck out. I went to go do my hygiene in the bathroom.

We got to Target and I got everything for Ari. Kai was begging for toys so I let her get one toy. On the way to my house, I dropped off Kai to Mama J house.
I went home to cook breakfast. Only problem was, I didn't really know how to cook. Mama J was the source of most of me and Kai's meals. Sad as hell.
I tried to make sausage, pancakes, and eggs. I was also cutting up some fruit. The sausages was taking a long ass time, so I went to set up her gifts on the couch.

I woke up to a empty bed. I checked my phone and I saw it was 7:45. I went to the bathroom to do my hygiene, I put on my outfit for the day. I wore burgundy sweats and a white shirt.
I did a light beat but when I was finished I smelled something burning. I went downstairs to see a pan smoking on the stove but nobody was watching it. I went to take it off the stove. " Daveeee ! "Well what was you setting up in the living room ?" He grabbed my hand and lead me to the living room. I saw the couch filled with little gifts.

I looked at all of my gifts and I was just a little confused on why he was doing all this. I stood up next to him and laid a bug fat one on his lips. I smiled in the kiss.
"Why did you do all of this for me?" I asked genuinely confused. "I felt bad for being snappy at you yesterday. I just didn't know how to cope with that shit." I nodded. "Yea but next time watch how you talk to me lil nigga." I looked him up and down.
