THE ASIAN Man was in his apartment watching a movie - ‚Once Upon a Time in America'. He was deeply fond of American culture and especially of American movies, which was a bit strange given his cultural and political background. But political systems and propaganda aside, no one could deny that the USA made great movies that stood every test of time, and—a benefit for someone like him who had to work in many different places of the globe—American movies where available everywhere, from Tokyo to Laos, from Buenos Aires to Stavanger. Or in London, his current location.

He took a deep breath. Tomorrow the second-to-last phase of the mission would start. So far, everything had worked as planned: the recruitment of assets and covers, the tactics and diversions, the team and cutting loose ends—namely the Kendall angle. That had all been preparation. The upcoming phase was the collection. The last phase would be leaving London with the mission goal and himself intact. The proper movie term would be: ‚get the hell out of Dodge.' But until then, he still had some work to do.

But for now, he continued enjoying his movie.
