about a week had passed , business had been booming of monei .
she was living again though her and kado had been a little shaky .
kado was never in houston now , monei hated it .
she hadn't heard from him in about 2 days . Asia had damn near moved in with monei .
monei didn't mind , it just showed up much ky was never at home
he kept telling her business opportunities kept opening it , monei knew it wasn't nobody but her daddy
he wanted monei to move to cali so bad , the flight there was only about 3 hours monei visited last weekend
it wasn't bad out there it just wasn't what monei wanted for herself right now
and if monei had learned anything she knew that she had to put herself first .
P was working from houston so she didn't see why ky couldn't , it's like her father was using ky as bait and he was too blind to see it
the phrase business opportunities kept ringing in monei's head and she thought of jojo .
finding his contact she called and he answered shortly she wasn't sure he would've been up at first .
" yo , who is this ?" he asked
" uh hey jojo this is R'monei , about the shop ?" she spoke

Monei and Jojo had breakfast set up so they could talk abt his offer .
R'monei was actually excited to see her business growing in this way.
It was only about 7:17 , monei had a head at 8:30 and not another one till 11
her and jojo were supposed to meet for breakfast around 10 she had plenty of time to move around .
she had just finished getting ready , she had on a blue 2 piece
she left the penthouse planning to make one stop before making it to the shop .
she wanted an açaí bowl it was calling her name so bad .
getting adjusted in the car her phone automatically connected and the song cry by k. michelle came on making monei turn it almost all the way up .
she let the windows down and pulled out the penthouse .
she felt like today would be a great day .

" stop it makhi " jo disciplined his 3 year old son
he hoped monei didn't mind me bringing him , i kind of brung him on purpose to help me charm monei .
just as those thoughts passed jojo's mind he seen monei hopping out this all black benz .
she had on a almost navy blue 2 piece , some sandals with white toes and a brown mcm bag
she was a very beautiful girl , but he knew he had to be professional .
she made it into the little cafe looking for jojo as she spotted me they made eye contact
making it to the table she looked at makhi she was adoring him
" awwwe , who's baby ?" she asked
" um mines , his name is makhi .. he's 3 " he retorted
" i hope you didn't mind him being here " he said
" oh nooo , he's soo cute i love kids " she said
sooner or later the waiter came and took their order's
they soon began to get to know about each other
" so tell me about yourself " monei asked jojo
" well , as you know my name is jojo umm im 24 i do tattoo's , i moved out here about 2 years ago my soon was 1 and it was just me and him , his momma ain't want nothing to do with him so i took my soon and left . " he vented
" i found him a daycare and i continued to pursue my dreams .. i started doing tat's out my house .. and i've been doing it since ." he said
" i realized the other day it was time to make the next step .. i started looking for a shop " he said
" i seen your place and it's nice " he said
" i got the money , i promise i do you'll never have to worry about a late payment , no payment none of that " he said
" i'm really looking forward to working with you " he said as monei just looked at him
" oh my fault , let me ask you about yourself " he stopped himself
monei didn't even notice he was just yapping .. she found him kind of attractive .
" um well , since you've been so straight forward with me .. " she began
" my names R'monei .. i'm 21 um i've been independent since i was about 13 , my mother died when i was 7 it was just me and my daddy and he didn't know anything about hair so i learned at a young age .. i began taking hair seriously as a carrier at 18 soon as i graduated high school ."she yapped
" i wanted to go to college but life was just too much for me , it took me a while to get over my mothers death , my father ran the streets so it was just me and her and when she died i was alone for most of the time " she vented
" um about 3 months ago i finally opened a shop , as you know my father had the money but i wanted until i had it to use my own money to open my shop i wanted to do it the right way ." she said
" business was booming when i first opened my shop , i took a break for about to 2 weeks im just getting back and business is still " she said
" im really happy i have this opportunity to expand the shop i woulda never thought i'd get it " she said
" since it'll just be me and you in the shop i think I'll start rent at 1,500 a month and that's just because i own it .. like i bought it and yk light bill , water bill , electricity yk all of that " she said
the shop was actually huge , it was spacious asf monei needed someone in there with her other than her clients
" um i'll take you see the layout of the shop hopefully this week if you still willing to follow through " she said
" of course " jojo said
the 2 continued talking and set up a day for jojo to come see the shop .
