(Author's pov)

The sun was high in the sky, casting its golden glow over the bustling streets of Mumbai as Avni navigated her way through the crowded market, her steps quickening with each passing moment. The air was thick with the scent of spices and the sound of vendors haggling with customers, creating a vibrant tapestry of sights and sounds that was quintessentially Mumbai.

Anika: "Bhaiya, ek kilo tamatar dena, aur thoda dhaniya bhi."

Vendor: "Sure, madam. Here you go. Anything else?"

As Anika reached into her bag to retrieve her wallet, a sudden collision sent her stumbling forward, her carefully selected vegetables tumbling to the ground in a chaotic mess.

Anika: "Arre baba, careful na!"

Her voice was a mixture of frustration and surprise as she looked up to see a tall, dark-haired man standing before her, his expression filled with concern.

Arjun: "I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"

His voice was deep and soothing, carrying a sense of sincerity that immediately put Avni at ease.

Anika: "Haan, I'm fine. Just a little shaken."

Arjun: "I should have been more careful. Let me help you with that."

With a gentle smile, Arjun began to gather the fallen vegetables, his movements graceful and deliberate as he carefully placed them back into Anika's bag.

Arjun: "Here you go. All sorted."

Anika couldn't help but notice the warmth of his touch as he handed her the bag, a strange fluttering sensation stirring in the pit of her stomach.

Anika: "Thank you."

Arjun: "No problem. Can I buy you a cup of tea to make up for it?"

Anika hesitated for a moment, the offer taking her by surprise.

Anika: "Um, sure. But just one cup."

Arjun: "Deal."

And so, amidst the chaos of the market, Avni and Arjun found themselves seated at a nearby tea stall, their cups of chai steaming in front of them as they engaged in easy conversation.

Arjun: "So, what brings you to this part of Mumbai?"

Anika: "Just running errands, like everyone else. What about you?"

Arjun: "Business, mostly. But I always make time to explore the local markets whenever I'm in town."

(2 hours passed and the didn't even realize)

Anika: "seems like we went too deep into the conversation,  it's already been 2 hours. "

Arjun: yaa , it was fun talking to you."

Anika: I'll be taking my leave now,  btw thanks for tea."

As they talked, Anika couldn't shake the feeling that their meeting was more than just a chance encounter. There was something about Arjun that intrigued her, something she couldn't quite put her finger on.

Little did she know, this seemingly ordinary day would mark the beginning of a journey that would change her life in ways she never could have imagined.

And so, amidst the chaos of the city, two souls collided, their destinies intertwined in ways they could never have predicted.
