Valérie is a simple normal girl living her life in Nîmes with her family when her life changes when she meet the famous british actor Henry Cavill who's on a vacation. Will her life will change for the worst or the better?
Her weeks off was over. Valérie was back to work, working on her laptop to translate books with the editor at the book publishing house. When she received a message from Henry on her phone and she clicke don the link to his Instagram where he posted a short videa message saying: Seems that rumours have been circulating about my personnal life as I have been seen out with a woman around Nîmes. I will confirm I have someone new in my life but she is not in the industry and we ask that you respect our request for privacy."
She chuckled as her phone rang just as the video eneded and she answered FaceTime call quickly.
"Your hair!"She gasped slightly at the sight of his shaved head as he laughed, running his hand over his newhaircut "Yeah. Probably should have warned you about that. It'll grown back, kitten."
She giggled softly as he winked "I like it. How's it going?"
"I'm tired. Was what I posted okay?"He said.
"Of course. Thank you for not posting my face."She smiled.
Henry chuckled, smiling at her "Well, the photos they have so far, your face isn't clear. And I didn't want to post a personal picture without asking first. Do me a favor though?"
"Okay..."She said.
"Don't look at any articles and more importantly, don't read any comments under my post or any article you may come across about us. I haven't looked and don't intend to. Okay?"He told her.
"I won't."She groaned out, suddenly worried.
"Promise me, kitten."He said.
"I promise!"She grinned as he smirked, nodding softly.
"Good girl. I'm going to sleep. Call me when you go to bed."He said.
"Yes, sir."She teased as he growled softly before hanging up the phone.
Valérie opened the door to her apartment a few days later to find her friend Chloe standing in front of her with a bouquet of flowers and a small card.

"Hi?"Valérie said as she takes the stuff from her friend, moving to let her into the apartment she share with her twin brothin.
Chloe was half French and half American but the two always speak in English. The two met when Valérie and her family moved there three years ago from Marseille. Chloe worked in a clothing store.
"They were outside your door. So where Julien and that nasty dog?"Chloe said.
"Oh, must have knocked when I was in the shower. And my dog is not nasty. It's just don't like you. Julien is shooting for his magazine a labrador section and he asked if he could borough my dog and I said yes."Valérie stated as she grabbed the small card from the bouquet, seeing it is from Henry and the note said : I miss your purr, HC.
Chloe watched Valérie giggle, blushing slightly as she snatched the card from her hand and asked "You purr? Eww." She tossed the card onto the kitchen counter as Valérie rolled her eyes and tells her "I didn't tell you to read it. What are you doing here?"
Valérie sighed, taking a seat at the counter "I miss you. I thought that now maybe since your boyfriend wasn't in town, you would have time for your best friend. How are you?"
"I'm fine. I do miss him. We only got a few weeks together and now he's been gone for a few weeks. I'm sorry I've been MIA."He said.
"It happens. I thought that maybe you would be upset about what people are saying about Henry Cavill's girlfriend."Chloe shrugged, pulling out her phone.
"I promised Henry I wouldn't read any comments or anything said about either of us."Valérie told her.
"That's probably a good idea."Chloe agreed, setting her phone on the counter.
Valérie groaned slightly, looking at her friend as she offered her a glass of wine "What are people saying?"
Chloe shrugged, drinking her wine as Valérie sighed "Tell me something..."
"Some are saying you're cute and that they think Henry looks happy when he's seen out with you."Chloe said.
"And others?"Valérie asked.
"You should just leave it, Valérie. I shouldn't have brought it up. Do you know when Henry is going be back?"Chloe told her.
Valérie sighed, staring at her friend for a moment before she said "Well we aren't really to the point of spendind Christmas with families yet. So he plans on going home for Christmas after filming and then he'll be back here to spend New York's and a few weeks with me."
"Oh, well that's only a few more weeks then. That's not so bad. You're happy?"Chloe commented.
Valérie thinks about her friend's question before smiling "I am. Take away who he is to everyone else, I can take it or leave it. But when it's just the two of us, he's really sweet and attentive and kind. He's always making sure to check on how I am and how I'm feeling. And the sex is amazing."
Chloe laughed, practically spitting out her wine as she does "Well yeah. He's a giant next to you. I'm sure he can throw you around with ease."
"No comment."Valérie smirked as Chloe laughed again.
"You want to go out with me this weekend? Doll ourselves up and dance?"Chloe asked.
"That sounds good, Chloe. I can't wait."Valérie agreed.
Once Chloe left, Valérie's curiosity gets the better of her and she begins to pull up gossip articles about Henry Cavill and his new normal girlfriend. She scrolls through the pictures of them running together, her in a hat and a few of them eating at various places around the city. None of the pictures showed much of her face though. She smiled at a particular photo of Henry kissing her nose as she grinned up at him. She opened the comments to find most of them nice but a few gave her a pause.
Cavill1864: she's a hobbit with curly hair! How can he like someone that looks like a child?
Cavillfan1999: a 'normal' girl. Someone is obviously only after him for his money...
fanc999: she is seriously got Henry?! Her... a nerd with curly hair and a hoodie?"
Cavillloverx9: this has to be a joke... Henry sure is slumming it...
Anna2023: Henry must be trolling us or he's bored.
Valérie scoffed, tossing her phone on the counter "Ils ne me connaissent même pas... (They don't even know me...)
She wipes away a stray tear, random people's thoughts affecting her more than she thought they would.
