Later...

Everyone was asleep in-Home Sweet Home,

Y/N sneaked out the back entrance to avoid CatNap, they hid behind a streetlight to avoid his gaze, he looks for a minute before lumbering away.

"Y/N?"

Y/N turns to see DogDay standing behind them, a concerned look on his face.

"DogDay what the fu-" DogDay frowns. Y/N sighs. "Sorry, I'm just... on edge. I had to get out of there, I couldn't stay in that place knowing what I know now," Y/N says, their voice trembling with fear.

DogDay nods understandingly, his eyes filled with compassion.

"I know, Y/N. I know things are difficult right now, but you're not alone. I'm here for you, and I'll do everything I can to protect you and the other children," DogDay reassures them, his voice calm and reassuring.

Y/N looks at DogDay, a mixture of fear and gratitude in their eyes.

"Thank you, DogDay. I don't know what I would do without you," Y/N says softly, their voice filled with emotion.

Suddenly theirs breathing down both their necks, Y/N freezes, DogDay turns around to see CatNap.

CatNap's ominous presence looms over Y/N and DogDay, his eyes cold and calculating.

CatNap points at DogDay with one of his talons before pointing at Y/N signaling what they're doing out here.

"Oh, CatNap! I was just taking Y/N out to get some air; they had a nightmare and they just seemed really stressed."

CatNap looks at Y/N.

Y/N nods nervously, their heart pounding in their chest.

CatNap studies them for a moment before letting out a low growl, he points to Home Sweet Home signaling for them to go back.

The two begin to walk but he puts a paw up blocking DogDay, he wags one of his talons before signaling for him to come closer.

Dogday nervously wave Y/N goodbye, Y/N returns it and heads to Home Sweet Home.

DogDay approaches CatNap cautiously, his heart racing with fear. CatNap's gaze is intense, his eyes filled with a cold calculation.

DogDay lowers his head in submission, awaiting CatNap's judgment.

CatNap leans in close, his breath hot against DogDay's fur. He speaks in a low, guttural voice that sends shivers down DogDay's spine.

"You know the rules, DogDay. Keep the children in line, and do not let emotions cloud your judgment. Understood?"

DogDay nods silently, his eyes downcast in submission.

CatNap studies DogDay for a moment longer before finally stepping back, his gaze unwavering.

"Good. Remember your purpose here, DogDay. We cannot afford any disruptions to the operations of the PlayCare."

With that, CatNap turns and disappears into the darkness, leaving DogDay alone with his thoughts.

As DogDay makes his way back to Home Sweet Home, he feels a heavy weight on his shoulders. He knows that he must tread carefully, for the safety of the children and himself.

When he arrives back at Home Sweet Home, he finds Y/N curled up in a corner, their FoxFear plush clutched tightly in their arms. DogDay approaches them gently, his heart filled with a mixture of sadness and determination.

"Y/N, I'm here for you. We'll get through this together," DogDay says softly, his voice filled with reassurance.

Y/N looks up at DogDay, their eyes filled with fear and uncertainty. They nod silently, grateful for his presence.
