The water cascaded down on me, washing away not just the physical exhaustion but also the emotional turmoil that lingered within. The soothing warmth provided a temporary escape, allowing my thoughts to drift. I couldn't help but reflect on the recent events, the pain that had woven its way into my heart.

As I stood under the shower, my fingers traced the remnants of scars, both visible and invisible. The water droplets masked the tears that mingled with the cascading streams, a silent release of the emotions I had kept bottled up. The memories of the lost baby bumped painfully into my consciousness, threatening to shatter the facade of strength I tried to maintain.

Yet, a glimmer of hope flickered within me, a tiny flame that refused to be extinguished. The love and support from Abhi, the warmth of my family, and the promise of new beginnings at the farmhouse - all served as threads weaving into a tapestry of resilience.

With a deep breath, I turned off the shower, wrapping myself in a towel. The mirror reflected my eyes, still glistening with traces of vulnerability.

The reflection in the mirror stares back at me, and for a moment, I catch a glimpse of the woman who is resilient and determined to embrace life again. I remind myself that happiness is a choice, a decision I need to make for my well-being and the well-being of those around me.

As I slip into the clothes, I take a deep breath, feeling a newfound strength coursing through my veins. The journey ahead might be challenging, but I am resolved to face it with courage and optimism. With a final glance in the mirror, I leave the bathroom, ready to confront the day with a renewed sense of purpose.

I go to wake maan up as I gently shake him awake, whispering in his ear about the ticking clock and our nearing deadline. I assure him that I've already freshened up and that we need to hurry. The urgency in my voice prompts him to rouse from his slumber, and he nods, acknowledging the need for speed. As he begins to stir, I leave him to prepare himself while I attend to a few things, excited about the upcoming treasure hunt.
