We just got back from the store and now I was running Myra a bath, she was currently watching Sofia the First in my bedroom
hmm, the water is warm, better wait for a few minutes
She seems to be obsessed to with princesses ,so back at the store, she begged me to get her a princess dress and how could I say no to her....
water's finally hot enough...
"Myra, time to take a bath.." I called out. "Can I please finish watching Sofia first,pretty pleaseee" oh no she pulled the puppy dog eyes
I was a sucker for those
"Okay Fine, but only for five minutes, and the waters wayy too hot anyways..." I decided to go and start making dinner
Hmmm...Pasta
I wanted fancy pasta today, but what kind...
Fettuccine, hmmm maybe
Carbonara....seems like a good choice
Alfredo....had it wayy too much
...
In the end I decided that I'd do dinner a lil bit later, right now I was getting Myra into the bath "Is the water too hot for you or is it too cold...." I asked "Nope, this is just right..."She started to splash "You're way nicer than all the nanny's I've ever had" Myra suddenly said while splashing in the bubbly water
how mean are those nanny's then ?...
"Thank You, Myra", I said while soaping her little hands "Why do you wive alone" "Hmm, well I moved from a different city" "What about your mommy and daddy?" "They went to Heaven way before I was born" "Sorry, it's not fun not having a mommy, I'm glad I have my maddy" She said sadly
I wonder what children do to deserve their parents getting separated, they have absolutely no part in anything yet they are the ones who suffer.I pick up on her mood and try to cheer her up
"I'm sure your daddy loves you very very much and I like you very much too in the few hours I've known you" I say while bumping her nose
She giggles a little bit
"From now on, no matter what, I will always be there for you okay, no matter what, in fact you can call me anytime you feel lonely" I said
I couldn't believe my own words. But I decided that I would actually upon it, I know what it felt like to feel unloved, so I will do everything in my power to keep her happy while I am with her
"Okayy Bath time is done," I said while lifting Myra in the little pink towel I had and walked to my room
While I was picking out her clothes, she began to watch another cartoon, Elena of Avalor I think, she really loves princesses
When I was at the store, I got her a few pyjamas and they were on discount, I know it seems like I'm doing too much but it's the least I can do after I got her messy and those clothes might be really expensive
Speaking of those clothes, I put them in the washing machine about an hour ago, so now they're in the dryer
"So....which pyjamas are we picking..." I asked Myra playfully
