Urvashi's Pov :-

I swished that cotton fabric like sheet away, he snapped his head up, but looking at his face i got confused for a moment, he's somewhat familiar, why

As that man lifted his eyes to my face and said,

" Blessing and Glory to my Owner...From this very moment i vow to be your loyal guard, Your Highness, the Princess,"

His eyes deep grey. Who is he? Have i seen him somewhere ?

I was inspecting his features, his eyes are disturbing me. No doubt he's strong, but there's something in his eyes that's making me feel...safe ?

When Baba Sa asked,

" Did you like your present, Mitthu ?" I turned to look at Baba Sa

And said,

" I don't know, Baba Sa......How would I know that he's going to follow my commands only," crunching my brows,

But as he chuckled lightly and answered,

" Well he's your personal guard....test him if you want...however he's trained to comply only his owner's word," beaming at him as i shook my head,

Forwarded my to hold his hand and assured,

" No, Baba Sa i trust you....and thank you so much for your efforts," he smiled softly and kept his hand on my head, it's warm. His hand feels like home, don't Urvashi, don't fall for this.

Biting my cheeks i tried not to spew something stupid as He said,

" Anything for you...Don't thank me....i just want you to be happy, my child." Smiling widely showing my teeth,

I had enough of this show, I can't act anymore, asking sweetly,

" If you don't mind, Baba Sa...can i go back...because tomorrow is a busy day so Bhai Sa asked me to rest." Patting my head gently, he nodded.

I faced that man again who was standing, staring everything with his piercing eyes and said,

" Follow me," he bowed to me as i gestured Moti to come along,

We made our ways back to the East wing, it almost dark, faint stars hanging in the sky, an euphoric combination of violet and navy with a hint of grey clouds. Moti was walking beside me and him trailing behind us, she was glancing at him repeatedly,

As she softly whispered,

" Rajkumari Sa, is he really safe....are you sure he won't try something dangerous." She's scared for my safety,

i huffed and said,

" Moti, don't worry...he doesn't look dangerous though i do have something in mind...trust me," she nodded but still looking at him like he's going to put his sword against my throat any moment.

We entered my chambers, as i sat on my couch while he stood still before me,

He doesn't look nervous nor embarrassed about his situation, taking a deep breathe

i asked him,

" What is your name ?" He looked at me, a strange twinkle in his eyes,

He smiled and answered,

" My name is Shekhar," he looks cute but not more than Veer, he's my exceptional case,
