"Where Da?" Hassan asked making me sigh then go down to his level
I felt so bad, they don't get to be with and spend time with their father because of me
"You won't understand this fully since you're young-" I started but he cut me off
"I'm not small, I'm a grown boy." He said jumping around
"I know, I said young." I said holding his arms so he would keep still
"But something really bad happened to daddy now he's in the hospital, he's asleep and we don't know when he gonna wake up but he's gonna wake up, I promise." I continued to explained
"He get pew pew?" He asked making me frown
"What you mean by that?" I asked
"Like the long thing and it go pew pew, Daddy say he gon teach me how to protect." He said
"Mmm, yes." I said
"Somebody have to protect from daddy, what he do?" He asked
"He didn't do anything, at all. That doesn't always happen when somebody has to protect." I reassured
"Okay." He said
"What about Mimi?" He asked
"What about her?" I furrowed my eyebrows
"You tell her?" He asked looking at her on the couch
"No, not yet." I said as I tears started to form in my eyes
I don't plan on telling her because she's completely too young to understand anything like that
"Go lay wit sissy while I make dinner, you wanna go to bed later tonight?" I asked
"Yeahhh!" He said excitedly
"Okay, baby." I smiled tickling him
"Mommyyyy." He dragged laughing
I stood all the way up, wiped my eyes and went to the pantry, I huffed thinking about what to cook
Already know I can barely cook so I pulled out the ingredients for some spaghetti
I made it and put it on their rubber plates then put Hassan's at the island and Mila's on her high chair
"Come eat." I said making them come over
I helped Mila up then they started eating. "It good, Mommy." Hassan said
"Thank youuu." I cheesed tryna keep my spirit up then made my plate

I walked in Samir's hospital room ready to talk to him but I was taken aback seeing all the people there, I only recognized some though so they all had to be his family
