"you ready?" I heard Asher's voice as soon as I walked out of the shower

"For what?" I scrunched my eyebrows

"We're going hiking on the mountain near. Take some sport clothes, it'll probably take the whole day" he smirked at me before walking out probably to change in his house

I sighed and looked at the clothes I just put on. I guess the shower was useless...

I put on some shorts and sport bra with tank top on top. I put on my trainers and walked out of my room to be met with Rebecca

"Oh, hi" I smiled before walking around her to the kitchen where I pour a bottle of water and stuck it into my bag along with some snacks

"Where are you going, pumpkin?" My dad asked when he walked into the room

"Asher is taking me hiking and didn't let me the chance to complain" I rolled my eyes but couldn't help the smile on my face

"Finally someone. Henry didn't like that kind of stuff right?" He asked while I nodded "how is it between you by the way" dad asked curiously

I opened my mouth to speak but the door opening made me sigh in relief.

Asher walked into the kitchen with a bag on his back. He greeted my dad before kissing my head

"Let's go before it gets too late" he smiled and held my hand to walk out of our house

We sat into his car after stucking bags into the truck.

The car ride was about hour long and when we got there, there were already few people walking out of their cars with sport clothes and bags on their backs

"So what way do you want to use?" Ash asked as soon as we made it in front of a big map showing us the area

"I don't know, the green one is the safer one and I hate heels so the green it is" I smiled at him and patted his back before taking a photo of the map

Asher didn't complain at all. The trail was easy but also longer. Most people made it to the blue one which was second easiest and some of them walked into the black trail that was the hardest one obviously

As we walked side by side, Asher started to hum a song, the song I know very well, so I started to sing along

Once I was seven years old, my mama told me
Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely
Once I was seven years old

It was a big big world, but we thought we were bigger
Pushing each other to the limits, we were learning quicker
By 11 smoking herb and drinking burning liquor
Never rich so we were out to make that steady figure

Once I was 11 years old, my daddy told me
Go get yourself a wife or you'll be lonely
Once I was 11 years old

I always had that dream like my daddy before me
So I started writing songs, I started writing stories
Something about the glory, just always seemed to bore me
'Cause only those I really love will ever really know me

Once I was 20 years old, my story got told
Before the morning sun, when life was lonely
Once I was 20 years old
(Lukas Graham)

I only see my goals, I don't believe in failure
'Cause I know the smallest voices, they can make it major
I got my boys with me atleast those in favor
And if we don't meet before I leave, I hope I'll see you later
